Letrozole and Ibrance is it working?
Hi ladies, I have found such comfort these past 6 months reading all your posts and stories. My mum was diagnosed in February with Mets to her spine in 4 places one pressing against her spinal cord which gave her shooting pains in her leg, she was sent for emergency radiotherapy and all has been well

Post DIEP surgery exercises??
Hello everyone, I was discharged yesterday after a delayed DIEP flap
reconstruction
and was given the
Breast
Cancer Care leaflet with 8 arm exercises. They are the same ones I had to do after the mastectomy 2 years ago. I haven't been given any information or advise about tummy exercises.

Hello everyone, I saw my oncologist last Monday. I left the office feeling depressed for the first time in a while. She is a good doctor and she really is trying to help me. What it is, I am on my third kind of treatment; first letrozole/palbociclib, then everolimus/exemestane, now Faslodex since November

new DCIS
I am new to this forum and newly diagnosed DCIS high grade. I am at the decision making process of type of treatment. I have been given the option of lumpectomy with radiation and mastectomy. Both I need hormone therapy. I am pre menopausal. How did those in this same situation decide? How did

Tamoxifen
Well, after such great news from my PET Scan, my Oncologist decided to put me on Tamoxifen along with my Ibrance 100mg. I explained that I had not been taking the inhibitor (I told his Assistant last month) and that it caused my RA to flare up. BUT, the side effect warning says it can cause liver cancer

Fever with VISION Study
Had my third VISION study infusion on Aug, 7. Normal recovery, nothing unusual. This Monday, Aug. 26, I felt wiped out and went to bed at 3:30 pm. By 5:30 pm I had gone from normal temperature to 104 F (40 C). Immediately to Urgent Care, who suspected neutropenic fever, which, apparently is a less-common

New PET SCAN
My wife underwent post chemo PET CT and report is good. Still local and main lump almost gone. Mastectomy in 2 weeks. As she is Her2 + she shall be on Herceptin or on biosimilars for rest of the year. My question this time is whether insurance pays for Herceptin infusion post mastectomy in India ?

Delaying starting tamoxifen
Hi all, I was diagnosed in April with IDC (ER+|PR+ HER2-)and had 2 unsuccessful lumpectomies followed by a unilateral mastectomy with immediate implant reconstruction on July 1st last. My oncotype score was 13 and as the mastectomy had clear margins I thankfully don’t need either chemo or radiotherapy

Survived right side breast cancer, what are the chances of getting it on the left side?
I have survived 100% Estrogen positive twice over the years, the last time was 2016 I had complete mastectomy on my right breast, chemo and am currently taking tamoxifen. When diagnosed a 2nd time I asked to have a double mastectomy however I was told that they would not remove a healthy breast and that
