I'm new to this!
Hello all Am new to this Have recently been diagnosed with COPD. Am currently on a nebulizer and two different inhalers. But I do wonder are there certain foods better for me and will I be able to lose weight asking because of the steroids. I've always been told you can never lose weight while

Visiting..and news
Dear BLF friends🦋, Bea and I have had to move out of our nice ground floor flat because of the works starting soon so Aria has been quite unhappy and grumpy😾, the balcony will not do it! I said to Bea we have to programme things differently next time but it’s done now! It has been very hot in Geneva

Hi everyone , I have Sarcoidosis, C.O.P.D A.F.I.B about 2 years ago I had blood clots from my leg that went into my lungs and saddled my heart and almost didn't make it. I was wondering how long it should take for recovery. When checking my lungs with a dye and CT scan the found very small nodules

Tried all inhalers ...
First post. My name is Kostas from Athens Greece and I am 44 years old. Was diagnosed with bronchial asthma 1.5 years ago, which probably was caused by allergic rinitis. In this last 1.5 year I was prescribed Fostair, Relvar and Simbicord, which all had the same terrible side effects on me. Anxiety,

Asthma, When to stand up
I’ve only been diagnosed with asthma since I was 18 I’m now 22 however I’ve always felt a stuffed to catch my breathe at times, I pleaded with the doctors since I was 15 when I was playing football with my team and literally couldn’t run up the field without coughing so much that I was gagging and almost

Rain causes attack?
Been raining a lot and this seems to affect my breathing along with considerable amount of mucus. My question is ,does the humidity affect my condition? Also what can I do to get relief, when inhaler and nebulizer do not seem to work.

Hopeless asthmatic
I have had severe asthma since I was 2 years old. I’ve been struggling with it all of my life and now that I’m 21 it’s still not well controlled. I’ve been hospitalized more times than I can count. Lately, my nebulizer isn’t helping because my biggest issue is the congestion. I can’t sleep, can’t hangout

Humidity and air purifiers.
Anyone else totally done with this weather? It’s beautiful and all but my goodness does it play havoc with my asthma! Ended up in A&E again yesterday thanks to this stupid humidity! Luckily this time I had paramedics who’d been to me before and know exactly how to treat me. They put me straight into

Nebuliser didn’t work
I recently took my nebuliser to the USA as directed by the consultant and my GP. I took Uk/USA adapters.... both kinds. I found to my horror that it wouldn’t work: at all with the 2 pin one and it only purred quietly with the 3 pin plug. The pharmacy wouldn’t sell me one without a prescription from a
