Been raining a lot and this seems to affect my breathing along with considerable amount of mucus. My question is ,does the humidity affect my condition? Also what can I do to get relief, when inhaler and nebulizer do not seem to work.

Rain causes attack?
The humidity definitely makes my bronch worse. I seem to get exaserbations during the summer months. This is unfortunate because the summer is so nice. I am almost always well in the winter.
I try to stay inside when the humidity is high and over 50 percent.
I think everyone is a bit different.
I am trying to get more rest lately.
Seems to help.
Thank you for your reply. Hard to believe that things like temperature and humidity can affect your ability to breath and get a decent nights sleep. I end up trying everything to settle the attack down, but eventually it does, but then it is day and I get to the point that I am concerned about what to eat without setting off another episode.
I recently went to a holistic Doctor. His name is Hari Sharma. He is an MD but he teaches Ayurveda. He has written five or six books. You can probably find them on Amazon.
He has given me a list of foods to stay away from and, a list of foods that are good for my condition. It is a challenge but, makes so much sense. I am completely away from dairy of any kind and, eating many more vegetables, garlic, ginger etc.
I will continue to use both integrated health.
Eastern and Western.
Cutting pizza and cheese out of my diet is really a bummer but, I am pretty much willing to try anything. Eventually, I will be able to eat some of these foods again, Once I’m “gunk free”. ( My friends term) 😄
