Hi everyone , I have Sarcoidosis, C.O.P.D A.F.I.B about 2 years ago I had blood clots from my leg that went into my lungs and saddled my heart and almost didn't make it. I was wondering how long it should take for recovery. When checking my lungs with a dye and CT scan the found very small nodules they say too small to biopsy but they want to watch. My GP just issued a nebulizer and steroid inhaler. There is a lot more to my story but I'm so exhausted to recall it all accurately. I'm scared and have no real answers. I found your site and hoping someone can help, even if it is bad news.

I think it’s no bad thing you are being watched but if your not happy do speak to your doctor before you become really anxious.

My husband also has sarcoidosis and COPD. He’s had 2 heart attacks but no blood clots.

Please tell us more about yourself when you feel up to it. Good to meet you..xxxxxxx

I have a nodule on my lung and when I asked about it they have said as it stands it is not a problem but a lot of people have nodules that cuase no real issues! It does make you worry though even afte been told. But the fact they are aware of them is good as they will keep an eye on them now. When they took some fluid off my lungs some years back they took a 1 cm blood clot with it. From my experience it can take a little longer than you may want to get the lungs back to any normality but try and push for Pulmonary Rehab!
