Pleural rub
Hi. I had a Pleurodesis using Talc when I was 16, I am now 37 and have been having these symptoms, which I can only describe as Pleural Rub, on and off for about 10 years. I was just wondering if anyone else, who has had a similar operation, are experiencing the same thing? Thanks,

meds check before 5th angiogram
I love my man so much, (37 years married in April. teenage sweethearts) he's been so supportive before and after my

haemorrhage
It's time for him and me to be worry free. I know my problems won't go away, but one less to worry about e.g. No AVM would be blinking marvellous.

Brain tumor
Hi I've been on this site in the past when my dad suffered a Tbi in early October. I didn't write much but I did find it very useful and motivating with the replies I received. My dad's story has been remarkable. He is now at home continuing his rehab. It's all just a case of getting his strength up

DBS?
I am hoping to get the OK for DBS surgery soon. Would love to hear from anyone who has had this done. Good or bad, I need to know.

DBS adjustment/migraine
I had my DBS adjusted today. Now I'm battling a migraine. Unlike typical migraine onset, this one started within an hour of the adjustment. Nausea with vomiting came on fast too. Does anyone else experience this? This is the 3rd time it's happened to me. I've made my MDS aware and I took 800mg

Feeling sorry for myself.....AND I shouldn't
But since the
haemorrhage
and the
brain
damage I have lost certain functions and pathways that worked previously. I therefore scream, panic, cry, run and put my self in danger when I hear a noise I haven't expected, and that's why I can't go out alone.

Harmony magazine is out - article about Lyme
The Thyroid UK member magazine, Harmony, has now gone out in the post! This issue includes a short article about Lyme disease which some of you may find interesting. It’s very difficult to find a doctor in the UK who treats Lyme disease and so we were very pleased to find out that Dr Jess P Armine

Update...
Sorry to you all. I haven't been in the frame of mind to type on here. I haven't picked myself up much since my saga but I keep plodding on and trying hard. I have my mri tomorrow to see how things are doing inside this head after the radiotherapy and then I get my results on the 8th Feb. My minds all

Functional Neurology
A while back I posted a question, “Does anybody else use functional neurology as a treatment program?” I did not hear from anybody that does, but many responses asking me what it’s about. So I will try to explain my experience with functional neurology in very layman’s terms. I was referred to a functional
