Is 92 too old to have pacemaker fitted?
My 92 year old mother has had an irregular
bradycardia
around 40 b.p.m for at least three years. Her doctor phoned last week to say she had been looking at her notes and wants her to have an ECG because she thinks her problem may be sorted out with a pacemaker.

Update on dizziness/fainting & arm pain
(can't remember names) &
bradycardia
. Cardiologist today made referral to electrophysiologist, another heart monitor (14 days this time). She said the remedy will likely be a pacemaker. That sounds like something for an old person. My little body is falling apart but not ready to give up.

Can’t Seem to Tolerate Any Drugs!
The beta blockers give me symptomatic
bradycardia
and the Flecainide gave me more AF episodes than ever. Has anyone else just not been able to take anything? I’m at the end of my tender with this. My ablation is meant to be back on but haven’t got a date yet.

I presented with
bradycardia
and Afib in June 2016. I got an emergency pacemaker for the
bradycardia
. I then tried various meds for afib, none of which worked. I went to Dr. Huang at U of Rochester. After an ultrasound, he said to go right away and get checked for apnea.

Advice from your experience please.
My Kardia records
bradycardia
every day now. Last night, my pulse was around 46-47 and I could feel an almost kicking sensation in my chest, with some shortness of breath & chest discomfort.

I work in a supermarket, close contact, with customers, should I self isolate for 12 weeks: vulnerable groups
of an idea, what the risk would be to myself, based on your thoughts I already know of 4 work colleagues, possibly have the virus, and there now in isolation for 7 days To me the government advice on who is in a vulnerable group, isn't clear, and there should be more detail My general condition is

Stereoids with bradycardia and few more questions.
So I wonder If I ever do need stereoids, can I even take them with
Bradycardia
and arrythmia? Does someone here has similar conditions? Also, if someone did prostigmin test, how does that go with slower heart beats? Thank you all!

Hi everyone,I had my PM implant 4 months ago for

TSH in 4’s Low 3’s - seeing Endo Friday
My GP who didn’t take me seriously is sending me for an ECG for
Bradycardia
(even though that in itself is a symptom of hypo), although he did agree to write me a referral to see someone privately and save me the cost of a private gp too.

All Change and on List for Ablation - a post-cardiologist update
He said my
bradycardia
was in sinus rhythm so although it was clearly making me feel unwell, it wasn’t AF.

Not such a good end to the day fiancé CABG yesterday
Now it’s swinging between being in atrial fibrillation and
bradycardia
so he’s going to be staying in intensive care and is back on a million drips and wires.

Anyone else been diagnosed with Autonomic dysfunction on top of PBC?
I've had an awful weekend, partner thinks I shouldn't be home but in hospital- Had it's of
Bradycardia
episodes (pulse under 35) over weekend that has left me feeling very poorly with pins and needles in hands and feet, blurry vision, breathlessness etc.

Sinus bradycardia/pauses while sleeping
24HR R-test has shown episodes of
bradycardia
mid 40’s with lowest 28 and pauses of less than 3 seconds. Longest was 2.1/2.2 seconds. Cardiologist has told me pauses less than 3 seconds don’t require treatment. Anybody had similar findings?
