Diagnosis-SSS
I have finally had a DDDR implanted to stop my
Bradycardia
(recorded at 30 bpm) compromising my Beta Blocker medication. This was implanted beginning of December 15. Until now, I could only manage 1.25mg Bisoprolol to ease PSVT, Fast A/F episodes. Any increase made my
Bradycardia
worse.

Reduction in Flecainide?
I have no obvious side effects from the drugs but I now suffer from
bradycardia
(a 24hr monitor in July measured a low of 34bpm during sleep).

Any other mountain bikers?
That "redlining" combined with nighttime
bradycardia
(resting heart rate sometimes as low as 41) is what pushed my poor little heart too hard. Any similar experiences? How about post ablation? Anyone still riding?

Strange sensations in chest
Had pacemaker fitted in January for
bradycardia
and it alleviated dizziness etc (set to kick in at 50 bpm). Had some ongoing draining sensations in my chest some evenings (like ribcage being slowly tugged downwards) but mostly went away.

Ablation without being on Warfarin
I had Tachy
Bradycardia
with three second gaps between heart beats. I had a phone call from Doctor (x) on a Sunday morning at the end of May after having had a seven day ECG monitor saying that I needed a dual pacemaker fitted as a matter of some urgency and all the reasons why.

I have
Bradycardia
I assume I'm waiting to speak to my GP for further info. My Heart is still doing the same dropped to 50 bpm yesterday whilst I was gardening. But with no syncope symptoms just extreme tiredness after for several hours.

Ablation Disaster
Since I have developed junctional tachycardia, my
bradycardia
still bad and I can't go for a walk, can't sing without heart going nuts. I have hot sweats too and I didn't have any of these issues before the ablation.

My Pacemaker experience
In AF for the third time after two previous cardioversions and with a seven day ECG monitor also diagnosing tachy
bradycardia
with 3 second pauses in my heart rate I was told at the end of May that I needed a dual chamber pacemaker as a matter of some urgency.

Further advice please :)
I actually collapsed at work,
bradycardia
of 40 bpm, pallor, sweating (no pain) extreme spinning and dizziness and severe vomiting caused by the dizzy spell. I couldn't hear anything or open my eyes, I have never felt so ill in my life.

Anybody know about a low heart rate and running?
When I had an ecg the other day because I was feeling unwell, they said I had sinus
bradycardia
and sinus arrhythmia. Does anyone know how this would affect my running? I need to go back to the doctors tomorrow see what she says but so far they seem unconcerned with how low it is.

Told by letter...
Is it an arrhythmia as both my Dad and sister have
Bradycardia
? Sigh! Sorry for ranting. I just feel so lost.

FDA warns of cardiac reactions with Harvoni, Sovaldi drug combinations
The FDA approved the changes to the Harvoni (ledipasvir/sofosbuvir, Gilead Sciences) fixed- dose and Sovaldi (sofosbuvir) labels to update the Warnings and Precautions, Adverse Reactions and Drug Interactions sections, after nine serious cases of symptomatic
bradycardia
and one fatal cardiac arrest

in your opinion, what is optimal treatment for AF and sick sinus disease?
I have a pacemaker for the
bradycardia
part of SSD but also have emphysema, so over time my oxygen level (currently fairly good), will worsen and in turn presumably worsen the AF and SSD. Anyone in same boat, or have ideas I can investigate further please?

Update of ablation in Mid Dec
On Christmas Eve lunch time phoned Dr and told to go straight to A&E - diagnosed with palpitations, tachycardia and
bradycardia
events. Bit of a mish mash really. Discharged last night so hopefully on the road to recovery now. Feeling better than I was and very happy to be home.

Absence of PAF following angioplasty
Had 24/7 ECG via the cardiology department and been using am AliveCorp pulse and heart rate monitor (highly recommended bit of kit, fits on to iPhone) and have had ZERO detectable episodes of PAF since the angiogram, just occasional slight
bradycardia
(again told nothing at all to worry about).
