What Does NDT Contain?
In pharmacologic doses 3-iodothyronamine triggers diverse effects such as hypothermia, behavioral inactivity,
bradycardia
, and decreased cardiac output. Metabolic effects such as a shift from carbohydrate to fat metabolism and stimulation of food intake have also been described (464).

My whole life changed in an instant but the doctors couldn't find nothing! Have I been poisoned?
Which isn't something i addressed to the doctors at the time because i thought it was so many other things going on (Tachycardia,

Can someone advise what symptoms of AF are to be expected?
I have AF and ventricular
bradycardia
(infrahisian disease - unclear if this means heart block)? I can't have pacing in the atria, I believe because of damage to atria.

New to Arrhythmia
Can this
bradycardia
issue be causing this, even though I only had severe episodes on one day. My GP said don't be surprised if nothing shows up on the readings as my issues are intermittent. What happens after I have worn the monitor, what happens next?

Definition of Bradycardia
My question is, do I have
Bradycardia
, my pulse rate is 51 to 54. I take 80mgs of Sotalol twice daily and have been in NSR since August 2013. I feel very fatigued but my GP is quite happy with my pulse rate. I would value your opinions.

AF help sought
Since then I have had an ECG and was fitted with a 24hr monitor that showed (to quote the report) "episodes of sinus
bradycardia
and of svt. Junctional rhythm and 1 slow ventricular couplet". The report mentions 'Brachy/Tachy syndrome.

Does anyone else get Mild chest pains And short of breath only when the heart rate is slow-below 50. Symptoms are more severe when in AF.
The only problem was that every time my rate droped below 47 the
bradycardia
alarm would go off and wake me up. The cardio was not impressed next morning. At least I got a stress test while I was in hospital which showed that there was no problem at all with my heart.

Cardiologist's report.
It concludes with the phrase " the ECG before fitting the monitor showed sinus
bradycardia
at 51 " In his summing up, and at a loss to explain symptoms I had described, " it is possible I am hypotensive for periods " and reduced my daily dose of Bisoprolol from 10mg to 5.

All 'done & dusted' - in sinus rhythm again!
It also indicates on my ECG prior to discharge that I have
bradycardia
and abnormal ECG. Something about ischaemia too. Sorry about the long post.

If you have bradycardia [33bpm] and AF [mild] what level and intensity of exercise would be optimal for your wellbeing?

In A&E again low heart rate and blood pressure all over the place .
When checked heart rate was very low 46 bpm and O2 92% ECG showed
bradycardia
and when blood test done had low potassium? Anyhow now back in normal sinus rythem and back home but had to have potassium tablets yuk.

How many arrhythmias can you name?
There are many different types of arrhythmia, some cause your heart to beat very slowly (
bradycardia
) while others lead to a fast heart rhythm (tachycardia). Can you name the most common arrhythmia?
