What next? Thyroid?
I had some more
blood
tests
last week, and have been called back to see the GP as my TSH has jumped from 2.06 in November to 4.50 ( range 0.40 - 4.00) , FT4 is 13 (10-20) which hasn't been tested before. The pathologist suggests retesting in 3 months.

Starting medication advice
I have done some private
blood
tests
and will be supplementing B12, D3 w K2, Ferritin and Folate as required once I have the results back. I was thinking of holding off on the Thyroxine until i am supplementing adequately as I know deficiencies can impact absorbance of the medication.

Advice needed and a bit of a moan...
I have asked for tests (as suggested by BLF Nurse)but these were turned down by the GP who said if anything gets worse it will show in the annual
blood
tests
. I would change GP but there are only two whose catchment area I fall into.

My first endocrinologist visit
He ordered
blood
tests
for me before he even spoke to me or knew what dose of pred I was taking. (I'm taking 7 mg a day now. Was doing 6.5 for a week but decided better to go back to 7 and stay for a while as I was feeling so bad with AI symptoms).

road to diagnosis
I was told that erythromelalgia often co occurs with other autoimmune conditions so further
blood
tests
were done to rule this out/confirm.

update on blood results
Good morning everyone - so referring back to last weeks post my
blood
tests
came back showing raised Neutrophil count 10.2 and my C-reactive protein up at 12 - so GP suggested going back to 12mg for 2 weeks then dropping to 11 for a further 2 weeks then repeating bloods.

If you have thyroid
blood
tests
that are outside the reference range over a long period of time, you should discuss these small risks with your doctor. " Sorry about rambling, having a strange post traumatic type brain day, brain is travelling at light speed but mind is travelling at warp speed, wyrd

Update on Methotrexate side effects
She has to have more
blood
tests
and another chest Xray in 2 weeks. She is still having difficulty breathing when walking any distance. I just hope she does not have any lasting side effects from this, particularly with her lungs.

I've noticed a difference!
The reason being that it may corrupt the
blood
tests
or metabilisation of any post-op medication I could be given.

Just need some advice on self injecting.
At some point in 2022 after
blood
tests
for an unrelated issue I was advised to stop self injecting B12.
