DNA fragmentation and ICSI
(30% or more) Is ICSI an alternative likely to be offered rather than 'normal' IVF due to this level of fragmentation (I'm an NHS patient but paid for the test privately and still to share the results with them) Is ICSI higher risk than IVF when it comes to
birth
defects
/abnormalities etc?

Folic Acid does not cause PA
We now know that limiting the folic acid concentration is responsible for children being born unnecessarily with severe
birth
defects
and that having no fortification is responsible for children also being born unnecessarily with severe
birth
defects
and for adults to unnecessarily have folate deficiency

Pregnancy concerns
The need for thyroid hormone increases rapidly in the first weeks of conception and I'm pretty scared because of the studies I've read where hypo women who aren't monitored carefully have a far higher incidence of miscarriage, babies born with
birth
defects
and impaired intellectual and cognitive development

Clomid
I have been researching the drug and I have seen a lot of research about
birth
defects
. I have been worried about taking them now, does anybody have any experience with the drug? I have been prescribed the lower dose due to my ulcerative colitis.

Is it dangerous to TTC with a TSH of 0.24 and fT4 of 20?
With the info stating that babies with
birth
defects
can be common in hyperthyroid I'm now worried about being overmedicated. Really don't want to wait to TTC any longer as I'm a geriatric in pregnancy terms. Would really like to try next week but obviously if it's a bad idea I will wait again.

Use of Antidepressants/SSRI’s during fertility treatment
Some research online seems to go along with this but then there is some that states it reduces fertility or raises the risk of
birth
defects
etc. Any perspectives from anyone would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
