Pluvicto fail - what's next
My husband finished 3 rounds of Pluvicto and each time his PSA has risen. He just had a PSMA scan yesterday which showed an increase in the bone mets. We talked with his oncologist last week and asked what his next step could be if it's decided to stop this treatment. She mentioned another chemo treatment

Getting a serial liquid biopsy post-ADT
Any experience/tips getting serial liquid biopsies approved by US MO's? My MO has not brought it up but I am off ADT after 21 months due to undetectable PSA since the get-go. So now I'm on the check-PSA-every-3-month program. I wonder why serial liquid biopsies aren't SOC at this phase too? There

Cancer takes another brave man
My wonderful husband passed away yesterday after fighting the beast for 15 years. Gleason 8 all but one core positive. He was so strong tried so hard, 2 clinical trials radiation, Zytiga, Xofigo, lupron for the entire time. Finally at age 65 his body could take no more, he lost over 40 pounds, no energy

Autovaccination seems a hot topic lately: Mt. Sinai autovaccination technique to turn cold prostate cancer hot (Phase 1)
ok, I am exposing myself to j-o-h-n in more than one way with that title... This is for regional leagues (locally advanced PCa), while we are the NFL of prostate cancer here, but the fact that a cold cancer was turned hot is very promising as it has always been the main limit of immuno therapies applied

Interpreting blood tests
I've been on ADT for 4 months in preparation for RT and then HDR BT. I have localised G8 with an initial PSA of 8.1 Prior to commencing ADT, my PSA inexplicably dropped to 4.94 but then rose to 5.37 within 2 months. Anyway, here are my test results before starting ADT; These are Aussie measurements

Lupron 12 vs. 18 Months
This is a follow-up to a post I made in January of this year. I was diagnosed at age 50, Gleason score 3+4 (10% pattern 4), highest PSA of 10.1, high-risk Decipher 0.84, PI, and some evidence of ECE. I was PSMA-negative. I started Lupron and was treated at UCLA in late October 2023 with SBRT on the MRIdian

How fast?
I have a serious question for the group. How fast does Prostate Cancer progress? Let’s use two scenarios. Intermediate unfavorable to aggressive. The reason I ask why is because I’m seeing men diagnosed with PSA’s in the 500’s to 1000’s & incidentally it was found through a routine blood test” with

lupron vacation
I’ve been on lupron now for three and a half years. My PSA has been undetectable since last November. I asked my OC about going on a lupron vacation and he said it would be fine now to try it. Just wondering if any of you have experienced this and how long before you had to go back on lupron. I’m 16

2 spots
I was undetected for a year after pelvic radiation then my PSA went up to .04 so we did a PSMA scan and discovered 2 spots, although one was on a rib. My PSA was .36 so the spots were radiated. I am having a slight pain in the area where the rib is located. My PSA has gone down to .26 so it’s moving

Are endocrinologists of any help after ADT?
After ADT, my MO told me that handling things like Prolia management won't be in her bailiwick. I didn't ask about post-ADT SE's and recovery from same. Hot flashes, low T, BMD loss, and last not least sarcopenia. What is the community's experience with how post-treatment SE's are best handled? Are

My husband has metastatic prostate cancer. We went through all the treatments including 5 pluvicto treatments. Even though his scan shows improvement in some areas it continues to spread. Maybe this is due to no meds such as Xtandi to stop the spread. I'm trying to get more information by reading people's

Newly diagnosed Gleason 9
Hi all, I recently had my prostate taken out and got upgraded to Gleason 9, T3b, seminal vessel and extra prosthetic extension with positive margins but no lymph nodes. I am 56, very fit, and will get my first post operative PSA in September. My pre-op was 9.5. I know a lot of people on this forum
