Dear Anne,

I don’t know why no one has responded to your query.

Most of us received the Carbo/Caelyx regime for our first recurrence and most of us found it tolerable compared to first line Carbo/Taxol.

Not all of us could take Avastin, but research has shown this to be a help in keeping ladies progression free longer, so adding it to Carbo/Caelyx might be a good addition to an already excellent protocol.

I have never had Avastin, but aside from spending the first week after infusion in bed, I found I had almost three full weeks of near normal life each month on Carbo/Caelyx and a good response to its cancer killing efforts.

Best wishes,

Laura
