Why I think Aspirin or Ibuprofen could give longterm remission
My goodness, they are extremely cheap drugs, as compared to
Avastin
which costs a fortune, and makes a fortune, of course, for the drug company which makes it.

First hand experience of Avastin?
We were originally told we that were getting
Avastin
this time round; then, due to admin malfunction, that we weren't. When they thought they couldn't get the drug, docs told my partner that
Avastin
was not that effective and, that the side effects were awful.

After the ecstasy and hope of being granted Avastin - the downside...
certain the
Avastin
had been the cause, I would henceforth be unable to have it.

My story part 2 !
The dr then said would I like an injection of
AVASTIN
as I certainly needed one. I declined as I was just too upset and had driven to this appointment so I now have an appointment on Thursday for my 11 th injection of a drug which is yet to show any real signs of working.

Is it worth removing the floaters in an MD affected eye
In my left one I had wet MD and I had been treated with
avastin
and lucentis. With regards to my right eye which I only have peripheral vision, do you think that remving the floaters from it is worth the risk? Lately I the amount of floaters increased in both eyes and thickened as well.

Professor Hani Gabra's Presentation - Professor of Medical Oncology - Imperial College - 25 September 2012
Trials with
Avastin
had turned out well for 2nd and 3rd line treatment. Dose-dense Taxol works in a similar way to
Avastin
and reduces the side-effects of joint pain and neuropathy associated with this chemotherapy. He advised us to look up the Watson and Crick research papers.

Avastin
Hi everyone I wondered what anyone's experience was of
Avastin
? It's been suggested to me but as I feel I'm doing well (chemo,op, chemo) I'm not convinced that the benefits out weight the side effects etc. Decisions, decisions!! Thanks, Sue
