DID ANY ONE FACED THIS KIND OF SITUATION ?

MY RECURRENCE OF CLEAR CELL OVARIAN CANCER AFTER 12 MONTHS FROM MY LAST CHEMEO SESSION , IT APPEARED AS A TUMOR PERITONEAL METASTATIC IMPLANT SIZE 5.5*5*4.5 UPPER LEFT ILAC FOSSA EXERTING AN EFFECT OM MY SMALL INTESTINE ( BOWEL LOOP ) AND ON MY LEFT COLON.

MY DOCTOR SET ME ON FIRST PHASE OF TREATMENT .

ON MONDAY 7 FEB 2013 I WILL FINISH THE LAST SESSION OF SIX .

FURTHER INVESTIGATION AND TESTS SHOULD BE DONE BEFORE MY SURGERY

IN ORDER TO CLEAR THIS TUMOR .

DID ANY ONE GOT SUCH EXPERIENCE ?

IM WORRIED ABOUT THE SURGERY, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS HIDDEN INSIDE ME.

AFTER SURGERY I WILL BE SET IN THIRD PAHSE AND IT IS SIX ROUNDS OF CHEMEO WITH THE SAME DRUGS USED BEFORE THE SURGERY.

WHAT AM I EXPECTING ?

HOW AGGRESSIVE OR NOT THIS SURGERY WOUDL BE???

A TUMOR SIZE 5.5*5*4.5 WILL BE COUNTED A VERY BIG TUMOR ?OR WHAT ?

CAN ANYONE HAS EXPERIENCE TO ADVISE ME ABOUT MY SITUATION?

IS THERE SURVIVERS LIKE MY CANCER.?

IS POSSIBLE TO GET A REMISSION OR CANCER AFTER RECURRENCE WILL NOT TREATED AND CURED ?

HUNDREDS OF QUESTIONS AND QUESTIONS ARE IN MY MIND AND I DO NOT KNOW WERE TO START AND WERE TO STOP THIS CONFUSING FEELINGS.

IM SORRY LADIES

I LOVE YOU ALL

GOD BLESS US ALL

LETS PRAY , PRAY AND PRAY

Hi Tarouza,

I am sorry I can't help you on this, but what strikes me is the fact you seem as if you are in good hands, and they are planning and doing the best treatment for you. So please try not to worry about it (easier said than done) the time to worry is when they can no longer do anything. If your oncologist thinks an operation is the way to go..then they are the experts and are doing their best for you...we are all different and one person's experience is different from another...I will add you to my prayer list love and best wishes x G x

Hi Tarouza

There is so much going round in your head, I think you should write all your questions down and take someone with you next Monday who will be able to take the answers in. It is hard for the patient to take it all in. You should also have been allocated a specialist nurse, ask for her telephone number. You could also contact Wendy Dee on this site and she will give you people you can contact. I was diadnosed stage III/IV in December 2008, my aggressive cancer was not operable and have had various treatments since.I have been on a trial for 13 months and have just returned from holiday, I'm OK. To my knowledge, the treatment you describe is fairly standard. Chemo to reduce the cancer, then operation to remove the cancer surgically, then chemo to clear up any 'dust' minute cancer cells that could possibly remain. After that you will be well monitored with blood checks (CA125) and scans so do not worry! The operation will probably get rid of most of your cancer and there are many treatments out there. A worrying time we know but you have made a good start contacting this web site so now is the time to write your questions down and ask on Monday. Take care - Jen

Hi Tarouza.

Everybody is different, and so it is difficult to comment, but it sounds like you are in good hands.

Good luck, and thinking of you.

Love,

Eileen xx
