Diagnosed with Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding
Hello everyone, I am new here. I am looking for any advice or if anyone has had a similar experience - I started bleeding heavily May 2021 after 20 years of no issues on the mini Pill (Desogestrel) I had a transvaginal scan (Sept 2021) and a hysteroscopy (Jan 2022) as a polyp was suspected, but nothing

RECOVERY FROM PULSED FIELD CATHETER ABLATION – ANYONE HAD ONE YET?
Some of you may have seen my recent update post relating to my decision to have a catheter ablation to try and sort out my early persistent AF (which was tolerable in terms of symptoms at the time). The decision was swayed for an active/invasive intervention when I was offered a relatively new procedure

PVC's - when to seek further medical advice?
Hi everyone, After several years of symptomatic and worsening Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation and Premature Atrial Contractions, I had a cardiac ablation in January 2021 that was very, very succesful - I would heartily recommend an ablation (sorry for that pun!). I have had the odd, rare episode

Cyclist and Runner with Persistent AF - After much deliberation decided to have an ablation
Thanks again to everyone who replied and commented on my post from a month ago, which I found most helpful. I thought you might be interested in an update. As I mentioned previously, I was minded to seek some further professional opinions (and others in the forum when I posted a month ago also encouraged

numbness, bruising and tingeling in leg after cardiac ablation
I had a cardiac ablation 9 days ago. After a week after the operation and extensive bruising I felt a sensation like a tight elastic aged band around my knee then sharp pain in my leg where numbness developed. I understand it happened because the nerve might had been pressed by the enlarged vein and

after a successful cardiac Ablation, I find myself scared to resume my previous somewhat strenuous physical activities such as spin distance
Do any of you have similar concerns, or guidance based on personal experience Dr.s seem to just tell me do what you feel is comfortable and don't over do it. I'm not sure what that is because I have a tendency to overdo things . Any thoughts

Pain after menopause
Hi all, I haven't been around for a few years. A brief back story. I had always suffered from painful heavy periods, since 16 years old. Numerous visits to the doctors over the years, being told it was normal or later on as I got into my 40s being told it was to do with the menopause, I finally got
