Quivering sensations
I hope you are all wellMy question : Has anyone experienced episodic "quivering" sensations that are very brief, 10 seconds or so? I've had something similar before, several years ago and wore a Zio patch for 2 weeks but never picked up any A-fib only PACs and PVCs. I am now 67 year old dx with paroxsymal

Technology question
We went away for the weekend . I was aware of tachycardia in the night ( only lasted few minutes) I always try to capture any palpitations if I can. This was the wee small hours so all electrical equipment was switched off . A tv , two phones and chargers, several lamps. I was about 22 feet away from

Afib and Atrial tachycardia ...
Hi all, Long story short, I've had arrhythmia for years, Afib and SVT. 4 ablations later, last year they fitted me with a dual chamber pacemaker and had an AV Node ablation. I still have an ILR fitted and from the uploads of a night from my monitor, they have found I'm having Atrial Tachycardia,

Dysautonomia in Sjögren's - Genital Sore/dry symptoms
Because of the shame or embarrassment sometimes involved in talking about vulvar or vaginal symptoms, I have not really gone into depth with my Rheumatologist. I am just wondering whether anyone has any tips of how to soothe:- Burning of the vagina or vulvaI Itchy vulva or vagina I am also going through

Regular care
I was diagnosed with AF around four years ago now, by a cardiologist in a major teaching hospital. I was put on anticoagulants and referred back to my GP. The local surgery check my meds yearly and I have an annual blood test, but that’s it. I am wondering whether I should ask to be referred back to

Oh no, I don't want this 😭
Hi, I've had a heart monitor fitted since beginning of June this year. The specialist says I've had a couple of 150+ HR events, and one event of no heartbeat for 3 seconds. My resting HR is often 37bpm, blood pressure is just about perfect 120/80. I don't get out of breath, though can get low blood sugar

Update and Plan
Well, I feel pretty good about my EP appt. today. He was really succinct about a plan, goals, and end game. So he has proposed in ascending order, four medications to try. He is starting with the mildest and going to the strongest. He is recommending to start with Bisoprolol, then Verapamil, then Sotolol

Sinus Rhythm with Various other Arrhythmias
Since having my first Afib episode in over a year after an ablation in March, 2022, I've had a very few additional Afib episodes. What's new is an almost daily spate of readings from my Kardia of: 'Sinus Rhythm with Supraventricular Ectopics", "Sinus Rhythm with Wide QRS", "Sinus Rhythm with Premature

Petrified of supposedly "benign" skipped heart beats.
I am obsessed with my skipped heart beats even though the 7 day event patch didn't show anything wrong. I want an echocardiogram, but I have to pay as the cardiologist and government don't think I need one. I live in New Zealand, and if the issue is serious or the doctor thinks it is warranted, then

Could I stop taking Rivaoxaban?
I’ve been on Flecainide, Bisoprolol and Rivaoxaban now for 5 years and have a pacemaker, my heart is in sinus rhythm at 60bpm. I understand that Rivaoxaban is to help prevent blood clots forming, but as my AF is now managed could I stop taking it? I get frequent gum bleeds despite excellent oral hygiene

Can an Ablation make my Paroxysmal AFib worse
I wonder whether someone can help me decide whether to have an ablation or wait Iam 65 and due to have a Pulsed Field Ablation and have justhad my pre procedure nurse interview. I have paroxysmal AFib -usually twice a year -lasting about 8-9 hours which I control with a one off mega dose 300mg

Af vs Ectopic beats
Hi all, This may sound a like a silly question but is it easy to differentiate between AF and PVCs? I’ve had PVCs for several years which sometimes occur only a few times a day and occasionally can be 1000s a day. I’ve recently been diagnosed with PAF but do not experience a racing heart rate and

Alive, with thanks: update on nightmare
Thank you to everyone for replies. I'm still wading through them but trying to avoid spending time on the computer. I survived the weekend. Saturday night was so bad that the only thing that stopped me from ringing 999 overnight was the fear that I would be told there were no ambulances available. I

Mind the gap!!!
I would like some advice from you lovely people, please. I was diagnosed with PAF over 30 years ago and since the early years when episodes frightened the life out of me, I now understand them better and deal with them in a calmer way. It doesn't make me like them any better though. I had an echocardiogram

Nightmare with(out) flecainide. Cannot get help from NHS.
This is a follow-up to a post I made earlier this week, trying to figure out whether to take a previously unused flecainide prescription as a PIP. I was diagnosed with lone paroxysmal AF 10+ years ago (I was not quite 50) but it has not been a regular problem -- I didn't need regular meds. Due to the
