I picked up a book and turned the page. My recovery had begun.
I was lucky, the author was later described as 'the woman who cracked the anxiety code'. She was nominated for a Nobel Prize for her major contribution to helping so many recover from anxiety disorder. She did this through her short books, consultations, newsletters and public appearances in person

Confusing blood results
I've been on NDT Armour for 14 months, titrating very slowly (1/4grain every 2-3 months). I've got on well with it, having gradual improvements with each increase. I can't get my head around these latest results, my FT4/FT3 is looking similar to where I started in July 2023. Both had increased through

High Cortisol and unusually higher TSH blood test results.
I have not felt well for a couple of weeks and the duty GP reduced my Levothyroxine dose after an incorrectly taken blood test at hospital (wrong time and not long enough after taking levothyroxine medication). My TSH from that poorly conducted test being 0.23 miu/L, which was not as low as I was

odd results help understanding them please
I had bloods taken. TSH is 1.27 a little low for me but my T4 (FREE) is 23.5 denoted as high since it was above the normal scale. Can someone help interpret these results? I asked for the full thyroid panel including T3 but of course they didn’t do the tests. Thank you.

Update to "Graves/hyperthyroid - not severe but wish me luck!"
Firstly not quite sure how threads work in this forum, seems that adding a reply to a thread doesn't bump it, so have started new thread, apologies if this is not the way to do it. I just wanted to respond to previous comments. Several members cautioned me that since my hormone levels were not very

Got 1st blood results since starting Ndt, my T4 is down and T3 up, should I increase NDT or try LDN?
Hi, I've been on NDT 2 grains for almost 3 months now. After 3 weeks on it, I started to feel worse & so I started taking full dose first thing and chew tablets now. I've started to feel a bit better in the past 2 weeks and have had a few days where I don't feel like falling asleep and can do a 10 min

What my GP said 🤔
Just got me thyroid test results. TSH 0.01 ( 0.3-5.0) T4 5.7 pmol (7.9-16.0l T3 3.5 (3.8-6.0) These are all below reference range so abnormal. GP will retest in 6 weeks and may consider prescribing Thyroxine if needed. Told me my thyroid is suppressed. How can it be suppressed if the levels are all

I really don't know what to do. I feel like I'm jumping from the devil to the deep blue sea. Jumping from hyper to hypo.

Hi I’ve just had my thyroid results .. I’m not feeling too good have neuropathy flare 😞 I work NHS and I’ve asked about my results and they seem to think maybe my T3 is a little high for me as this neuropathy started soon after my increase ? I have also got a high ferritin which the GP thinks I shouldn

Hyperthyroid To Hypothyroid??
To give a bit of back story, I first saw my GP for suspected thyroid issue in Jan 2021 at that time I was told my blood results were normal but I was Vit D deficient which was the explanation for my symptoms. Even though I felt fobbed off I took the findings for what they were as the GP is the expert

Help I need some support!
Hi there, My son & myself have had terrible symptoms such as extreme weight gain (myself) hair loss, fatigue, anxiety, bruising this list goes on. This has been going on for over four years. After vast research, I demanded the GP to send us for an ultrasound which showed nodules on both of our Thyroids

TSH and blocking TRAb
Further to a recent post by HealthStarDust on TRAb results and a discussion with tattybogle and pennyannie as to whether having blocking ABs dominating would give high or low TSH, I posted a question on Elaine Moore forum. The following is her reply :- About 20% of patients who move into remission using
