Bradycardia - had enough, going round in circles
I am a 37 year old Mum and have had suffered from episodes for years, ranging from needing
atropine
to boost me after a procedure, to excessive yawning, greyness, sweating and hairs standing up on my arms. Family say I can so pale I look grey.

Secretions and Saliva
Mum is on
atropine
and hyoscine patches and amitriptyline to dry up saliva and secretions but they do not seem to be sufficient and her SPO2 is dropping to 85. If anyone has used
atropine
then what is the maximum dose that you have administered?

Atropine drops useful?
I hear of
atropine
drops being given for excessive salivation and am wondering why my husband's doctor has never mentioned them.He has taken glycoprylate for years supposedly to help with this condition but recently while in hospital a different Dr. said the glycoprylate would make it worse and took

Thick Saliva - Confused
She has been on
atropine
drops which were working so well but now does not seem to be as effective. The build up of thick salvia is causing mum to cough for 15-20 minutes at a time. We're looking for a suction machine, but confused as to which one is the best.

Drugs/Side Effects/Lack of Sleep and CHC
Because of hallucinations, we changed from
Atropine
drops to Hyoscin patches, then lived in a nightmare for 48 hours. B. was acting as if he had a UTI, trying to get out of bed , constantly babbling and tossing and turning.

Fast beats after Atropine Eye Drops
Wondering if anyone has had a reaction to
Atropine
Eye Drops, the ones they put in to dilate pupils for eye investigations.

Glycopyrrolate or Atropine?
I discovered Glycopyrrolate's efficacy as compared to
Atropine
and will go back to the original prescription in 4 hours (though
Atropine
has a half life of 2 hours) Another article noted that half of the
Atropine
taken is "lost " in the urine.....and as noted only has a half life of 2 hours.....My

Perhaps the
atropine
helped the drooling as intended, but he still had several bad bouts of choking on sticky phlegm in the night. Worst of all, he kept insisting on getting out of bed.

New member, quickly deteriorating eyesight with nerve palsy & (almost) constant tinnitus (ringing in ears) among other symptoms
She prescribed some b12 and
atropine
drops, and sent me home. I took the drops (which did nothing except give me crazy dreams due to the
atropine
) for two weeks while the symptoms persisted, worsening steadily.

Is severe coughing normal when neither eating nor drinking?
or write, her speech is now almost unitelligable and she needs help washing, dressing and toileting.I can understand coughing when eating or drinking but her worst coughing occurs when doing neither.NONE of my wife's professionals have any experience of PSP so can't really offer much help.Sometimes

The loud gurgle rattle when my husband breaths is often mistaken as a death rattle when new hospice staff come to see him.
We dry up secretions with
atropine
drops but my husband does not seem bothered by the rattle. Has anyone else experienced this?

Tony was recently prescribed
Atropine
drops under the tongue to help dry excessive secretions in the mouth. Having used them occasionally I can report that the results have been very encouraging. If anyone else is troubled by dribbling, please ask your GP about

Has anyone had experience of Atropine Eye Drops? I understand these can also be given for drying up excess saliva.
