heart failure
I had a cardioversion about 3 weeks ago for
Atrial
flutter
- it didn't work . when I had my heart scan it picked up moderate to severe hf , not sure if I'm going to get another cardioversion or a ablation.

Is this atrial flutter rather than sinus rhythm as reported?
6 years in permanent AFib after failed ablation for AFlutter If yes, is this a known problem with Kardia?

Blood thinners advice
I ended up in resus with what has turned out to be
atrial
flutter
(same risk etc as Afib though different presentation). Terrifying process where they use adenosine to stop your heart for a few seconds to try to reset it - anyone who's had that will know what I mean!

He explained that I was experiencing
Atrial
Flutter
and the PIP Flecainide that I had started wouldn’t help. After discussing the options he recommended having a cardioversion which was performed on Monday and now I‘m back in NSR.

I have joined HealthUnlocked as I was diagnosed with

last year. It would be good to link up with others with a similar health issue.

Atrial Flutter.
Having had periods of "
Atrial
Flutter
" I would have said quite the opposite, having often thought of it more in terms of close on flat-lining - thoughts anyone.

Post Second Ablation help pls
Inducing AF induced
Atrial
Flutter
with a very long cycle due to slow conduction across RA. Further ablation required at IVC end. Atrial Myopathy hence Av Node ablation should be done if AF recurs. The trouble is the AF episodes getting picked up by the PM in first place.

Sixth Ablation
Slipped into atypical
atrial
flutter
a month ago and the response has been rapid at Lovelace Heart. Hopefully they’ll find the latest rogue signals and this one will hold for a bit longer before we go the P&A final route. Send the docs and me good healing T&P.

Ablate and pace
I started with left sided
atrial
flutter
which responded well to cardioversion and kept me symptom free for nearly two years.

Erratic heart rate
Hi I was diagnosed as AF with
atrial
flutter
in January 2024. From January until now I have been reasonably well. However yesterday I felt dizzy, bad head and generally not with it.

I thought
atrial
flutter
which I’ve had before. I’m usually permanent AF. At all times in the past weekI have felt fine. Kardia 1 said tachycardia. Yesterday I restarted 62.5 mgs. My question is how long should I wait before considering a further dose increase? Thank you

Flutter vs AF
When in hospital they said I had
atrial
flutter
with a 5.1 / variable block - this was a standard local hospital. I saw my cardio a few weeks later who knows my EP as I was concerned that the PVI I’m booked in for is different to a flutter ablation.

Pacs, Please Go Away !
Had my second ablation for
atrial
flutter
back in September , first ablation was in 2016 for afib, that ablation worked for almost seven years. Have been having these weird extra beats, I felt them and they showed up on my Kardia . After some internet research, people told me they are pacs.

ECG revealed
atrial
flutter
.. I had holter ECG during a five day inpatient stay and the diagnosis was persistent
atrial
flutter
with asymptomatic slow left ventricular rate. I now await cardioversion in two days and found this lovely website for advice and reassurance 🙂

Adrenal insufficiency & cardiac issues update
Have
atrial
flutter
and
atrial
fibrillation. Heart rate as low as 40 at times. One episode where the HR pause was 3 seconds or longer. 24 episodes of supraventricular tachycardia (over 12 days). He suggested changing meds. Left with a prescription for Sotalol.

Pill in the pocket drug Flecainide and AF
During the most recent episode my heart went from AF to
Atrial
Flutter
(in the right atrium) after taking the second Flecainide pill. I'm booked to see a cardiologist next month.

Thuddy heartbeat after AF diagnosis
I have just been diagnosed with
Atrial
Flutter
with rapid ventricular response and given bisoprolol 2.5mg as well as blood thinners. So, now my heart rate and blood pressure are within normal parameters - but I have a very "thuddy" feeling heartbeat.

Detecting undiagnosed AF
I'm a stroke lived-experience person since 2016 and, I've had
atrial
fibrillation /
flutter
that started years before that. Intially paroxymal, later becoming permanent.
