Arthropathy

He suggested that I have calcium pyrophosphate arthropathy, not PMR. Apparently CPP is fairly frequently misdiagnosed as PMR. It was a new one on me. Anyone else heard of it? I'm to reduce my pred (2.75mgs at present), have a DEXA scan, and he'll see me again in the spring.

- The L4-5 level demonstrates moderate degenerative disc disease, disc bulge, endplate spurs, arthropathy of the facet joints, mild bilaterial foraminal stenosis, central zone disc protusion, mild bilaterial recess stenosis and no central stenosis.

The bone scan showed this to be Arthropathy. The CT Scan did show some Atherosclerosis of my Coronary Artery - calcium. I have a Mitral Prolapse/Regurgitation and naturally run a low resting heart rate (high 40s-low 50s). So off to the Cardiologist. My lipid panels are fine and I have an Lpa of 7.

The last year has been very stressful (bereavements, sepsis, house move) and I have had 3 episodes of joint pain - trochanteric bursitis x 1 and two episodes of tendonitis/ psoriatic arthropathy in my hand/ finger joints.

I have also been diagnosed with spinal arthropathy anyone else got this this, I wander if zoledronic acid infusion will be any help with this.

I have been reading about zoledronic acid does not help with osteoarthritis and may make it worse, I have marked facet arthropathy in the lower lumbar spine arthritis, anyone know anything about this.

Showed degenerative disease, disc changes, arthropathy, disc bulging, degenerative signal change on bone marrow. Alot to take in on report.

These tests may include: a liver ultrasound (Fibroscan) or MRI (liver multiscan) an ECG or echo - to check your heart rheumatology - check for joint diseases, such as endrocrinology - to check for diabetes or Addison’s disease

Dynamic x-rays show subluxation of C2-3 and C3-4 with facet joint arthropathy at the relavent level. Severe degenerative disc disease at C5-6 and C6-7 level. CT scan shows facet joint arthropathy on the right at C4-5 and on the left side C3-4 as well as C2-3.

The result was likely PMR or large joint arthropathy. I was put back on a short course of Pred while starting Methotrexate as a longer term med. I am in contact now with Rheumatology nurse at my local hospital. The consultant had never seemed interested in me as I was "too young" for PMR.

Hi, Got an X-Ray result back, and found out that I have reverse cervical loidosis, and cervical facet joint arthopathy (C7-T1). Does anyone known of any line with the Thyroid or any other autoimmune mediated conditions. Thanks in advance.

I recently developed some tinling in my arms (having previously had some in my hands), and after a neck X ray, they found that I had arthropathy of C7/T1 facet joint (with narrowing of joint space and subchondral sclerosis), and reversal of the usual loidosis of my neck.

Mild bilateral facet arthropathy and ligamentum flavum thickening. No evidence of stenosis. L2-L3: Mild disc desiccation and bilateral facet arthropathy.

There was also facet arthropathy in the upper cervical spine particularly the left and some foraminal narrowing possibly at C5/6 and C6/7. I don't really understand much of this I am afraid! The report said, I could do nothing or arrange to see a spinal consultant, I chose the former.

hi all , a very frustrating nurse visit yesterday after over 3 years on preds and methotrexate for 9 months they are now saying after a excruciating headache back in November and a X-ray of me neck I have facet arthropathy and that’s what’s been causing all my pain absolute nonsense So I said let

proximal bilateral SV involvement pending final radiology read, prolaris 5.2, Bone scan with nonspecific uptake in the anterior right 3rd and 4th rib suspicious for neoplasm but could potentially be prior fracture as well as focal nonspecific uptake in the posterior spine of T7, suspicious for facet arthropathy

Had the injections for lumbar disc degeneration & facet arthropathy a few days ago. A mixture of wear & tear & inflammatory arthritis, probably an RA involvement which I have. Gentle walking & lying on my side still provides the only relief.

He has done some more bloods and has asked for an MRI of neck as I have bilateral severe facet arthropathy in my lower spine. Not a great experience...

I have left C2/C3 arthropathy; I had an awful left sided neck flare up 2 weeks ago. They didn't do an x-ray when I went to Aand E. The x-ray was done today (flare up has calmed down!). The neck ('cervical spine') x-ray was done with while I was standing up. They did a few with my mouth open.

"Minimal broad-based disc bulge as well as mild bilateral facet arthropathy with ligament of flavum hypertrophy. Findings are indenting thecal sac and causing mild bi-lateral neural foraminal stenosis. Please advise.
