Taking LEVO. Should I stop eating goitrogenic vegetables?
I’ve just read about Goitrogenic foods and their effects on the thyroid. Do all of you that have Hypothyroidism and are “in the know” avoid these? I’ve been vegetarian (for many years) and my evening meal always consists of lots of vegetables, (including cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower etc), but I’

My husband, almost 72, just had blood work with everything good except cholesterol (little high 227) and high TSH 7.93, slightly low T4. He has no symptoms of hypothyroidism! Since he has no symptoms, we're waiting 3 months to retest and T3 also, and he works 45 hours a week loading and unloading yard

Vitamins
Hi I'm just starting this journey of information. I am subclinical hypo - last test TSH 6.83. I've got a lot of symptoms and i'm unsure whether it's all down to thyroid, or if I am vitamin deficient, or if I am starting another fun journey of perimenopause. I'm vegetarian, my periods are regular and

Results of TSH Modification Experiment
I inquired last week about what effect I could produce on TSH within three days. I appreciate the expertise and wisdom I received. I had just seen an endocrinologist who wanted to cut back my NDT because my TSH was 0.027. You advised me to stick to my rights as a human being. The endocrinologist seemed

Help interpreting results
Hi, apologies for long post. I’m a 34yo female. I’ve had symptoms that line up with hypothyroid symptoms for years. Had a few tests when my eczema flared up really badly around 12 years ago, which coincides with the time that a lot of the symptoms began. Have had fatigue basically since catching Epstein-Barr

anyone got experience of private Drs or this reaction to dropping meds?
TO UPDATE, I HAVE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH AN ENDO FROM THE LIST AND AS MY ENDO ALREADY PRESCRIBES T3 ONLY THERAPY FOR ME (long story) HE MADE IT CLEAR THAT I WAS ALREADY GETTING THE BEST I PROBABLY COULD OUT OF AN NHS GP. SO NO NEED TO PAY PRIVATELY. Depressing to know no more nuanced help from anyone, but

The distribution of Euthyrox will remain available in France until the end of 2023.
I know there had been issues with Euthryox, especially when first launched in its new mannitol form. However, I had not realised until just now that it is being withdrawn in France. Below is an automatic translation (my French is very poor). Is anyone able to explain the reasons for its withdrawal

test interpretation help please
help with test result interpretation please. retest using monitor my health as I though NHS test might have been affected by taking a multi vit (which I stopped a week before this test). Was overactive and gradually put on 75 levothyroxine. Should I be reducing this amount as now over active? My TPOs
