Feeling symptomatic

Hello,

I’ve on 125mcg of levo for about 2 years now and lately started to feel symptomatic again. Had bloods done last week and even though I requested full thyroid bloods they’ve only come back with the TSH which 2.55 (range 0.4-5). I’ve made an appointment with the doctor to discuss and ask for an increase. Am I likely to get an increase or will I have to argue this? Any advice would be great, thank you ☺️

Could go either way!... Yes, you need an increase but whether they will agree.. 🙄

I'd grab yourself a private full test so you know exactly where you are

Could be very useful for a bit of GP training 😉

ask GP to look at these references, all recommending they adjust Levo dose to keep TSH lower (ie. between 0.5- 2/ 2.5) rather than 'anywhere in range'

and this one ... explains why 'anywhere in range' is not the same as 'optimal for the individual'
