What sort of exercise should I be doing after just being diagnosed with mild aortic stenosis?

Waiting for appointment for CT scan.

Best to ask the medic who diagnosed you, and her/his recommendations for exercise will be balanced with the awareness your CT hasn't been done yet. Only your medic is medically trained professional with access to your medical notes and knows what is going on with you - and he/she is the only person who can safely advise regarding physical activity while you wait for your CT scan.

More than likely he/she will tell you to continue with normal daily activities plus some walking if you're not already 'walking for fitness', adding you must stop and rest if the activity causes pain, dizziness, or breathlessness.

But again, it is very important to remember ONLY your medic can advise on what and how much exercise you can take right now.

Not what you're looking for?
