Can feel blood going through smaller valve
I don't have any symptom of
aortic
stenosis
as such but the last couple of days I have noticed a flippy floppy feeling in the heart with no pain on exercise. Is this a normal symptom?

Aortic stenosis
I am suffering with Severe
aortic
stenosis
and COPD but I am trying CBD (cannabis oil) to relieve the pain and palpitations. Is there anyone else that has been through similar. I have been told I will have valve replacement as a last resort 😬. Thank you

A bit spooky - Did I always know?
At 59 I have been diagnosed with severe
aortic
stenosis
. Its all a bit of a shock. Ive seen a surgeon at Kings and he's putting my case to a multidisciplinary team. I will know in a week or so if surgery will be this part of the year or towards the end.

TAVI information please (I'm new on here)
My 73 mum has severe
aortic
stenosis
and needs a heart valve replacement. They have given the option of a TAVI or open heart valve replacement but we don't know enough about the pros and cons of each to make an informed choice.

Aortic stenosis
I have been diagnosed with moderate to severe
aortic
stenosis
. I am only 59 and the cause at this age can be a connective tissue disorder such as lupus. Because of the major rheumatic pain I've been experiencing over time I have been trying to get this kind of diagnosis to no avail.

Anxious - is this my life now?
I've seen a cardiologist for my moderate/severe
aortic
stenosis
and he has immediately referred me to Kings and their valve specialists. He says he wants to get it done in 3 months before I get worst symptoms. I'm not so scared of the op but the risks of death before they do it.

Acetic Acid aka Spirit Vinegar
Been gluten free now for nearly a year and getting on great but still struggling to understand why. Acetic Acid, (and sodium acetate) aka Spirit Vinegar, mimics the gluten effect for me. I get the thing about undistllled vinegars, most particularly malt vinegar, and appreciate that the distillation

Moderate to Severe
I e just got my latest diagnosis for moderate to severe
aortic
stenosis
. I was diagnosed mild 3 years ago and tokd I wouldn't need to worry for 20 years. I'm very confused and scared. I haven't even been referred to a cardiologist - Helo. What do I do now.

Why am I having an Irregular heart beat and extreme breathlessness 2 weeks post op aortic valve aneurysm replacement.
I have arranged for my children to be CT scanned by the BRAVE project who are researching bicuspid valve/
aortic
stenosis
. They have been so supportive as there is a 25% chance they will have inherited this congenital disease. Fingers crossed pleased.

Help - a meltdown
I found out last week I have moderate/severe
aortic
stenosis
. I was told 3 years ago that I had mild and that I didn't have to worry about it for 20 years, so I didn't. I haven't slept for three days, I've lost half a stone, I have no support other than the BHF. I can't stop crying.

Neck and shoulder stiffness
I have
Aortic
Stenosis
and am waiting for a date to have AVR. I get quite a bit of neck and shoulder stiffness if I do too much, and I don't know if it's linked to the condition or not. My question is, would it be okay to take Ibruprofen to help with the pain? Any thoughts please?

Asthma or something else?
My GP didn't think it was Asthma, he arranged various heart tests and it was found I had mild
aortic
stenosis
. My current doctor is revising the tests. However, I have been on a Greek island recently with high winds and it seemed to create an issue for me...I couldn't breathe alot of the time.
