Aortic valve replacement
This was in 2016 when I was diagnosed as having "moderate/severe"
aortic
stenosis
. A year later I had some breathlessness while warming up in the gym and following a CT angiogram and a stress-echo I was now a clear "severe" diagnosis.

WORRIED.....
I know I've got moderate/severe
aortic
valve
stenosis
. I'm really worried all hell will break loose and they will keep me in. Only having echo at local hospital so I know nothing can be done there.

My Aortic Valve Replacement : The lead up to my operation and my decision on the type of valve (I chose the Edwards Inspiris Resilia).
Having first being diagnosed with
aortic
stenosis
in 2002, I had known for some time that I would eventually need to have something done, but it was only in very recent times as the problem became more severe that I started to show any symptoms.

Blood Pressure with Aortic Stenosis
Hello, So I am quite new to all of this and honestly I have never had any concerns surrounding my congenital heart disease. Aortic valve replacement- the journey begins
I was diagnosed with Severe
Aortic
Stenosis
last month - bit of a shock to say the least. The pain/ache in my chest I put down to being less fit than I used to be and the shortness of breath I thought was because I was tired. Even when I got the diagnosis I was in still in denial.

Fast heart beat in night
Are sudden rapid heart beats an
aortic
stenosis
thing. Is it something I should report to my surgeon when only a one off and do other people with the same condition get this?

Too much exercise and I get sick
Complicated history as I have
aortic
stenosis
(weak heart valve) and I have been in atrial fibrillation. What I thought were symptoms of my stenosis was always exercise-induced asthma. I only discovered this about 4 years ago, around the same time I first had a-fib. I am 45 now.

Cardiac syndrome X
After many test I have now been diagnosed with Micro vascular desease and
aortic
stenosis
which is moderate. For years now I cannot walk out without having to use my GTN spray. Hills are my major problem whereby I have to make regular stops.

HF or not HF - That is the question!
She said that she has valve problems with
aortic
stenosis
and some mitro valve regurgitation. But she is not quite in the “moderate” stage yet, so it doesn’t warrant valve replacement or intervention at this time. So we will wait until she is around 95 yrs old to intervene with the valves?

Aortic stenosis/Giant Cell Arteritis
I have now been told I have
Aortic
Stenosis
and am waiting more investigations. I googled the problem and it says on NHS page that GCA is linked to the heart problem. I have to take calcium for my bones as I am on steroids and a buildup of calcium in the heart valves is part of the problem.
