My brother has just received his MRI results, but no explanation or follow up appointment. Could anyone help explain

'subendocardial infarction [heart attack], and severe aortic stenosis.'

Thanks

This first indicates that he had a heart attack. There are various types and I believe this indicates some sort of damage but I am afraid I do not have the knowledge to expand.

The second indicates narrowing of the aorta and maybe of the aortic valve.

I am surprised that there is no follow up as the stenosis may require surgery in the future. He should make an appointment with his GP to discuss. It maybe worth someone going along with him as often people do not take everything in. Good luck!
