Getting a prescription for an unapproved treatment
He has however said the
antihistamines
wont work with the lupus side so the cream is essential both indoors and out to enable me to try and minimise the reactions.

Rituximab
Have see a locum consultant on Sunday. He told me stop taking Lefludomid straight away as my blood pressure is very high. He examined me, read my history and says I am a candidate for biological treatment. He then arranged for me to have a steroid injection. I then returned to the hospital Tuesday

Confused
I've been taking anti inflammatories for a neck injury for many years, and
antihistamines
for numerous allergies. Can either of these suppress lupus symptoms or affect blood tests? Many thanks x

Taking antihistamines with AF
Hello Everyone I enjoy reading all the posts and have learnt a lot. I have had episodes of AF for about 3 years but have had at least the last six months without it. However, I developed an attack of hives about a week ago, so severe I couldn't sleep and nearly went mad with the itch. The GP has put

HUVS and Xolair (omalizumab)
After trying out
antihistamines
, plaquenil, corticosteroides, dapsone, azatioprine, methotrexate, hydroxychloroquine my doctors gave me Xolair (omalizumab). After six shots a felt better then ever. Now they won't give me any more. The reason given is little research and scientific evidence.

Hives
I've always had breakouts of hives, but only once a month or so over the spring/summer which went away quickly and were controlled well with
antihistamines
. They would usually pop up in a couple of places on my body. I always associated them with some kind of allergy.

Is this IBS/Collitis or something else?
I was wondering if someone could help me. I am relucant to go to my GP as my symptoms are 'on and off' and often just a bit of nausea and feeling that I need to open my bowel constantly. Don't want to 'bother' them (plus it's a pain getting an appointment) I am 42 and female and I often have diarrhoea

What caused my hypothyroidism?
I'm new here, and an American, so I hope you don't mind me posting here. I believe I've had hypothyroidism for about 13 years. I've always been a low energy person who gained weight easily, even as a kid. However, I did not get symptoms until my late 30s. My symptoms were extreme fatigue, oversleeping

I think I'm allergic to Synthroid ... Not sure what to do next
Hi, I know this is a UK site, but I'm hoping someone may have a bright idea to help me decide what to do next (sorry it's a bit long!). I posted a few days ago about my latest set of test results which showed FT3 @ 74% of range, but despite this I had a number of symptoms return or get worse. I've

Accident prone week.
I took
antihistamines
and used ice. For two days now I have felt unwell. Even more fog headed. Is this a lupus thing or general bee reaction. I react more and more these days.

Persistent Cough, Clear Xray Clear Spitum. Did A Round of Antibiotics
It was quite awful at first, as I could hardly sleep and the only way I could was by drinking
antihistamines
. My spitum was green. I had a round of antibiotics along with 3x daily nebulization of salbutamol. It did cease, but unfortunately I caught a cold on the last day of the antibiotics.

Possible vasculitis diagnosis looming...
I've had allergic rhinitis (stuffy/runny nose and a cough caused by post nasal drip) for a couple of years now, with no clear trigger and only minimal response to
antihistamines
. I also feel very tired a lot, but this could easily be due to the hepatitis as the fatigue is a long standing problem.

I took antihistamine for the itching but ended up with a really dry mouth - double whammy of the condition and use of
antihistamines
so trying to put up with the skin irritation.
