My partner has really bad allergies to cats and antihistamines don't seem to help with this. Is there anything else he can take or any strong type of antihistamines? Any advice would really help, Thank you.

Has he had his allergy confirmed by testing. He should be prescribed an Epipen or other AAI in case of anaphylaxis. Unfortunately avoiding cats completely is the only option.
