I also was seeing an acupuncturist for 3 months following my year of awful withdrawal symptoms from
antidepressants
and then finding myself with constant bowel problems which no siegmoscopy, colonoscopy, or scan could diagnose.

Been on antidepressants for the last 17 years.
I've tried all sorts of
antidepressants
etc but nothing worked except when I found my soul mate and spent a year with her. That one year was literally heaven. But then she left me suddenly without telling me anything.

Is it time to try another antidepressant?
I have been on Zoloft 100-125mg for about 3+ months now. I really haven't felt any improvement in my anxiety and depression. Should I look into trying another antidepressant or ask my doctor about increasing my dose?

Howdy, I’m new in town!
Well not new to anxiety but new to this community. I figured I join cause I’ve been having some medical issues lately and it’s been driving my anxiety up the walls. And I don’t want to keep burdening my fiancé and mother about it. See I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder& acute depression

2 Month Spotting
I was also on
antidepressants
and medication for ADHD very briefly for 3 weeks but came off. So, I put my unusual periods down to stress but now I’m starting to question things and feel anxious again and feel myself falling into the same hole I did in November.

Antidepressant withdrawal
Am posting this because so many members have written about their awful experiences quitting anti-depressants. If nothing else, maybe it will help to validate your experiences (not that it should be needed). The Covid reference might be misleading or irrelevant. Hopefully the article will be of some

KEEPING A LID ON BLOOD PRESSURE DURING THE CONONAVIRUS CRISIS
Some herbal supplements such as licorice can raise blood pressure, and foods such as cured meats can interact with some
antidepressants
. Manage stress Stress can lead to bad habits, such as poor diet, that can increase the risk of developing high blood pressure.

Mitarzapine, gaining weight? I was bulimic and I can’t go back there. Please tell me if you had food issues
NB being as I have been on
antidepressants
makes me feel even more depressed. I am literally just breathing in the sofa and that’s it.

Liver Disease - Anxiety and Depression
(Also it may mean that there is one less tablet having to be processed by the liver, as
antidepressants
would no longer be required). This may be a contentious subject and I post this as a form of open debate. It isn’t aimed and anyone in particular, but merely as a point of interest.

Multiple issues but struggling with GPs, how do you guys cope?
Jfyi, I'm not medicated, excersize regularly, work full time and a tad frustrated with offers of
antidepressants
and time off work-which I've always turned down.

Will I ever feel normal again
I was on Mirtazapine last year for 8 months. I successfully weaned off and was great until week 5. Then it all came crashing down. The anxiety and depression was bad again. My doctor wanted to try Lexapro, I only lasted two days. I was in bed with severe nausea. So I then was prescribed Buspar which

Low sodium.
My recent blood tests show that I have low sodium. Any one know the best way to improve it ? I have been using more salt, dont know if this is a good idea. This has happened before . The doctor took me off Fluoxatine and gave me another antidepressant. This made me really feel really down. I'm
