A novice question
Hi everyone, Forgive my ignorance on the matter but google is really not the best learning tool. I've been told I have APS after three tests (one was negative, the other 2 positive - all a bit baffling for me) but that's all I know. Are there different kinds? Of different severity? Do we know what causes

Premature ventricular contractions 5 months post ablation
I was put on
anticoagulants
one month before the ablation and these were also stopped a few weeks afterwards, so I'm not on any medication at the moment.

Cardioversion
Hi All, Really appreciate the advice and wisdom people have thrown my way. I’m trying to follow your advice with keeping diaries and eating healthy. But some days I haven’t recorded things or eaten as well as I should of done. I was diagnosed with AF at the beginning of July and was placed on Bisoprolol

I’m in the exact situation as you are. You say all the things I have going through my head .
I had a lupus anticoagulant test same as you and they space it out as You said every 3 months . I have had a huge clot in my subclavian which was so big it had spread from subclavian to side of my breast and under my arm pit . I was in hospital for a week . They put me on heparin IV drip and Coumadin

Long term requip use side effects
Over the past 15 years my requip dose increased to 4mg. After taking 4mg nightly for 6 years, I’ve suddenly began having nighttime side effects including waves of severe nausea, indigestion, and major sweats. Soaking wet pillows each night. Horrible indigestion. Waves of nausea and a tiredness. Although

Cardioversion or Ablation? Or Neither?
This is my first post here! First, some background: I was diagnosed with AF at the end of June 2021 when I went in for a hernia operation and they did an EKG. It came as a total surprise. I’m asymptomatic. My average heart rate is around 68-75 bpm. My AF is persistent. I wore a Zio patch for 14

TOE clear!
Just come back from hospital after having a TOE (Trans-Oesophoegeal Echocardiogram) and the "mass" they found was benign. Not a clot as suspected from first echo. A small "artefact" of tissue - not causing any issues. All else fine too, structurally heart in good condition. To say I'm overjoyed is an

How long usually after my burr hole surgery (on 28/6/21) for a sub dural hematoma before I can resume blood thinners for my A Fib?
I have A Fib, although I believe it is "mild" (only 2-3 episodes in almost two years) and was on Eliquis which was discontinued for the (chronic) sdh surgery. Head taking its time to heal, with a recurrence of areas of acute hemorrhage detected by a CT scan on 23/7/21. The sdh took six weeks to be

Querying Pegasus dose
Hi everyone I’d be really grateful to hear from anyone who has experience of Pegasys lowering their counts below normal but no reduction in dose being recommended. I’m JAK2+and have a diagnosis of PV through a BMB but it was high platelets (800ish) and an enlarged spleen that led to investigation. I’

Nose beefs
I wrote a post on May after having 4 nose bleeds after being on Riveroxiban for 6 years. I stopped the anticoagulant for 3 weeks & I now take Apixaban. Have been fine until now when I am on holiday in France in our campervan & have already had 2 bleeds luckily while on site controlled by pressure & ice
