2 chemical mischarriages and 1 bfn. Next protocol for FET my clinic is saying to add blood thinning injections on to top lubion injection once a day, Utrogestron 3 times a day and Progynova x 3 times.
I did mischarriage blood tests and they came back normal.
Has anyone had blood thinner and did it help?
Anyone been on a similar protocol?

Hey, with my third transfer I was on a low dose of heparin (20) from day of transfer and I got as far as a CP (my previous two transfers prior to that were unsuccessful). For my fourth, I was put on a higher dose of clexane (double) from beginning of Stims and I’m still on it now at 10w4d. I’ll have to continue taking it until I’m 34 weeks but I do have elevated blood clotting markers so that may be why.
I think it can help, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s guaranteed If I’m being honest as I think lots of things play a role. But it’s definitely worth a try for sure and I hope it brings you success ☘️☘️ Xx
Hi, I did two chemical pregnancy’s. then the doctor put me on 75mg aspirin and 20mg clexane everyday. I am now 13 weeks pregnant. So I defo think the blood thinners work hun xx
Have you been checked by a hematologist? I didn't think a fertility clinic could add blood thinners without an underlying condition. I have factor v leiden and antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) so I have been on mini aspirin and Fragmin (5000) once daily and I'm 12 weeks pregnant after a couple of miscarriages (when I did not use blood thinners because I didn't know about my blood clotting conditions). Good luck x
Hi, my clinic is doing the exact same. I have had two failed FETs and going for my third in a couple of weeks. My clinic has said I can add in blood thinner injections if I want, said it won’t do any harm but might help. I find it strange they are suggesting it without any tests to suggest it’s needed but I am willing to try anything! xx
I’ve had 2 miscarriages and 1 unsuccessful FET, this was our third FET and I’m using aspirin and fragmin (another injectable blood thinner) and so far we’re 5weeks3 days! 🤞🏽🤞🏽Good luck x
