A skeptic researching grounding/earthing

Has anyone on anticoagulants used a grounding/ earthing device, e.g mat or sheet that it is suggested grounds one as if walking barefoot in contact with the ground. It suggests lots of advantages BUT says if on medication, into hypertensive, diabetic meds or anticoagulants your doctor should be consulted.

I am risk averse but certainly don't feel I should take up my GPs time with this as she probably won't have heard of it.

I don't see warning signs "Caution do not walk barefoot on the ground, it may affect your medications"

I am not gullible but realise there are many things we don't understand

I love walking barefoot. Except the morning at 17 when on Duke of Edinburg sceme when I stamped on the end of my first fag of the day.

G'day Bagrat,

I'll be frank ........... sounds like a load of old ............. !!

When I'm in my home environment, indoors or outside, I've always walked barefoot. Can't remember when I didn't. Now I'm talking about in my life both in Australia and here in UK. I've never given it a second thought, never ever.

Of course I wear foot protection when I'm in DIY mode, or getting my exercise - walking - or any other outside activity which will cause me to drive my car, go outside my property boundary.

It's never bothered me .......... what does bother me is if I cannot get supplies of my Barefoot Malbec 😂😂😂 ........... in addition to taking Malbec I also take Warfarin !!

This is my feeling too, but like any snake oil it is interesting to see how many people do and some "research" to demonstrate efficacy.

Like you say it's interesting to read about any of these things that people say will cure you or change your life , as long as you don't put your hand in your pocket and buy them......or rely on the advice of anybody whom suggests you do! I've just watched a great series on Netflix called , " Apple Cider Vinegar" I'd recommend it to everyone on a health journey as it gives a great balance in the belief that "Green Pharma" and it's practitioners are always better than " Big Pharma". Also showing that the sales and media industry behind the promotion of many therapies and products are more than happy to ignore the facts and conceal the truth in worship of their share of the mighty green buck.
