I feel proud of myself to say I feel more confident and my sparkle has returned through my hard work of wanting to get well and the things
anorexia
stole from me I have re-built and continue to do so.

So I spent so long waiting to get to the point at which I could say i'm in the late'er' stages of recovery from
anorexia
, but now I'm here I find here isn't an easy place to be either.

My problems seem to stem from idealism, but how do I change that?
My MH problems began with
anorexia
, because thin was never good enough considering that thinner existed....I hope that makes sense....I don't want to feel like I am settling for anything, but I also thinks its unrealistic and unreasonable to strive for perfection.

Working on recovery from Anorexia Nervosa
Yes, you might feel in control at the start, but unfortunately as the illness gets a grip,
anorexia
takes more control and leaves you feeling powerless.

Could this be it? Folic Acid
I did some further research and found this on drugs.com" "Gastrointestinal side effects, including
anorexia
, nausea, abdominal distention, flatulence, and a bitter or bad taste, have been reported in patients receiving 15 mg Folic Acid daily for 1 month.

Frequent attacks and an annoying mum!
On top of this she insists to them all that my asthma is 'physcological', as i have a history of
anorexia
. The doctors tend to give her funny looks and ask why i am i wheezy with low sats etc., but stil she doesn't listen.

Hypothyroid, low t4, low tsh, patronising endocrinologist!
At that time I was suffering with
anorexia
. I have since recovered completely from
anorexia
(physically and psychologically), with a current bmi of 25.5. 2 years ago, my g.p. noticed both my t4 and tsh were low. I was referred to an endocrinologist, who took me off of thyroxine.
