Has anyone else been diagnosed as having low potassium and magnesium levels when battling anorexia?
I collapsed yesterday and was rushed into hospital, tests showed my potassium and magnesium levels are really low. I know I need to eat more but am finding it really hard and the thought of eating a banana freaks me out. Has anyone any other suggestions of foods I could eat that are less scary?

CAMHS (CBT)
I'm very overweight so they aren't fretting just yet, but I have all the characteristics of
anorexia
bar the weight. So there's my little story for you all, problems are still as big as ever but at least I'm getting help and I'm willing to have a blast and see if it works out!

How do you accept new body shape when recovering from anorexia?
I have been gradually increasing what I eat over the last few months in my battle with
anorexia
. But this has meant my stomach always seems to look bloated and I am getting those 'You look fat!!' voices in my head again.

Is anyone else finding it hard to eat over Christmas? So much pressure to eat over Christmas finding it overwhelming.
I'm slowly recovering from
anorexia
and had been making good progress but since Christmas day have found myself resorting back to my old AN eating patterns.

Slowly but surely
I did find out that my step-mum struggled with
anorexia
, could she be hung up on this? Hopefully my appointment with the gastro will back me up and will continue to make myself Ill with wheat to prove to everyone that I'm not just being stubborn and it's my in my head.

How are we all feeling about Christmas?
I got through several Christmas time panic sessions whilst I suffered with
anorexia
, and have come out on the other side loving this time of year. So, I thought I would see how everyone is feeling... Good and strong I hope, you might not even need support.

Baking and Anorexia
I know that baking often goes hand-in-hand with eating disorders, but since this week has been baking mad, I thought that I would do some research into baking and
anorexia
. I find baking therapeutic.

Our bodies ARE amazing!!!
I remain on crutches but seeing the before and after makes me realise that all of the care given to me and my determination to accept this, despite many a set back with food and my
anorexia
, I have helped to repair my body. It really is amazing.

Living with Anorexia
I've suffered for over 30 years now - never quite bad enough to be hospitalised - and coping with life - but living with it sure aint easy - especially within a marriage and having a partner who is now over 50 and trying to lose weight. Does anyone else struggle with this - I find it so hard as I'm

Confused by blood tests!
Also in the letter he states that I said I was continuing to feel unwell with
anorexia
but at no point have I mentioned being anorexic, infact he knows how much I weigh and I could do with losing a few pounds if anything! So I don't understand why he would put that?

How can i deal with ignorance or fipancy with regards to my eating disorder?
I have
anorexia
, and whether i talk about it or not, i think most people who know me, know that i struggle. Obviously my family know, and they have had to see some pretty rubbish times and are still there and have not abandoned me. At the moment we seem to have a good understanding.

Losing to live
Sometimes we just have to lose to realise what we have...the gift of life, so why waste it worrying about your body, what you eat, what the number on the scales says, punishing yourself and all the other things

Unneccessary complications
All of my energy was focussed in
anorexia
and I had little strength for anything else. I had so much support but my life didn't seem to change but the reason for this was me.

The fight continues....
This is one hell of a problem because I have been fighting my eating disorder, the dammed
anorexia
. Today, I have really struggled to keep to continue with a meal plan that, so far has kept me safe.
