can you suffer from angina for a number of years without it being detected.
are these angina symptoms?chest, back, shoulder, neck pain accompanied by sweating and a closing sensation in the throat.symptoms hit hard for a few minutes then reduce to a lingering ache for a few hours.

I have 97 SAT, Pulse 75, BP 78/140 and I have diagnosed as a Stable Angina patient
I get a sharp pain in the centre of the chest, on the sternum and sometime it radiates to the left arm. I take half a tab of Sorbitrate 5 mg, place it under the tongue and after a few minutes it disappears. The pain appears particularly after meals, or when I walk or in the night if I go to the toilet

16 days in hospital still wondering what is wrong.
I went for my exercise test which was stopped after 2 minutes as my BP had dropped to 88. Chest tightness and arm pain began which did not lessen with the use of a GTN spray. So I was admitted to Coronary care and subsequently to a cardiology ward where I stayed for 16 days for monitoring and investigation

Had a crushing pain in my chest, that then went all the way up to the top of my neck! Angina? or indegestion?
I am a bit worried, I have been to the doctors on friday evening. but on thursday I was just shopping in Lidl, pushing my trolley, when I suddenly had a very intense crushing pain in my chest that then went all the way up my neck. It lasted about 8 minutes and I was so concerned that I rang my boyfriend

Hi, am to use a loop monitor soon. Any advice please?
Recent PAF episode with left upper chest pain led to an angiogram which thankfully showed no coronary artery problems. Why would angina spray given by ambulance men take away the pain each time, but now told I don't have angina. Arrhythmia was decided to be the cause of the pain, but why would that be

Prinzmetal Angina (Coronary Artery Spasm)
Morning everyone. Like you, I'm fascinated by this illness which joins us all together. Does anyone here, (apart from me), suffer from Prinzmetal Angina (Coronary Artery Spasm). It shows itself as crushing chest pain and mimics a heart attack or Angina Pectoris. It differs from the above two insofar

I have just had the most horrendous experience .. In February I received the dreaded esa. I , like others , tried to be truthful ( wish I had lied now ).. What followed has been bloody awful . 3 months of them making mistakes. Insisting I went for the medical ( I suffer with Social phobias) . I eventually

Bad day, with angina.
Feeling so down today. Angina pressing chest all day, feeling so tired and washed out. When this happens every month or so, I get so depressed and low. Everything seems to be going on, in chest and head. Of course, the mind races toward thoughts of heart attacks etc... Does anyone out there get these

I wonder if anyone could help explain my latest cardiologist's report to my GP? 1. Coronary artery disease. a.probable angina ( then report
findings from angiogram) 2.Probable paroxysmal SVT ( posisibly paroxysmal AF) then describes 15 beatSVT/AF 24hr monitor and again at a later monitor, brief AF. Apart from the Angina,I have had to look up the abrivations and until recently did'nt understand what was wrong. Still not had any real explanations

Angina with clear arteries- cardiac syndrome X. My 55 year old friend has been diagnosed with this and she suffers angina daily on exertion.
She also has episodes of racing palpitations and tiredness. She was given calcium channel blockers, aspirin, statins, PPI's and nitrate spray but refuses to take any of these due to side effects. She is normal weight, has normal BP and cholesterol under 5, but her mother had a heart attack followed with

Is this angina?
For about a month now I have been experiencing an uncomfortable, sluggish feeling in my chest that can go on for hours at a time. Occasionally (about once a day) it gets really painful. I looked up the NHS website, and my symptoms seem to match that of angina (neck pain, tiredness, breathlessness, pain
