About me
I went straight from the ambulance into the cath lab/OR where I had 2 stents fitted via
Angioplasty
. I was then taken to a recovery room. This whole process probably took less than 2 hours to complete from one hospital to the other and being fixed. I am now on day 2 of being back at home.

Angioplasty
Hi everyone, I had a heart attack at the end of November and had three stents put in with one more planned for the end of January. In the main I feel fine, no pain anywhere. Up and about doing slow walks and pottering about. I am however finding it difficult with the side effects of the drugs. Mainly

Post-Clopidogrel symptoms?
It's now 15 months since having an
angioplasty
and starting on Clopidogrel and other related meds. The Clopidogrel prescription has now been stopped, as expected, on review by the Cardio nurse at my GP practice. I have been off Clopidogrel for 2-3 weeks.

Angiogram results
I posted about it was going to be an
angioplasty
but I didn’t really want stents if there was a problem I wanted another bypass as it’s so close to my Quad CABG being done last year then I’d rather get it fixed then repaired.

Running can literally save your life !
They were literally waiting at the door at Wolverhampton new cross hospital and within 10 minutes of arrival I was on the theatre table having an
angioplasty
with entry from the right wrist .

Right coronary artery was stent 21/10/22, Left Coronary artery is to be managed with medication. Since that date my symptoms have worsened, now suffering with numbness, tingling and burning sensation in legs and arms, face flushing and tingling, palpitations any time my pulse goes 60bpm (an ongoing

Angiogram vs Angioplasty
Each time I had a stent put in, they started out as angiogram and became
angioplasty
, each time they went in they put in a stent if needed, except that one time when I needed bypass. Now my Cardiologist wants to do an angiogram, then discuss his findings with me then go back and do
angioplasty
.

More angina when walking
Specialist said was a rare complication of first
angioplasty
that artery was damaged causing it to narrow again. Now I'm getting pain again, a bit higher up than before and milder but enough that I have to stop and use my GTN spray.

That worked quickly
After my HA and
angioplasty
18 months ago I was prescribed Ramipril 2.5 mg twice a day.I had a review at our surgery some 7 weeks ago, I mentioned to our GP that I occasionally felt dizzy for a second if I got out of a chair very quickly, as my BP was consistently coming out at 105/63 (regularly measured

Post angioplasty severe pain in side
So I had my second
angioplasty
on Monday, the procedure went well from the cardiologists point of view and I have had another stent fitted right next to my first one - they are overlapping. From my point of view however, when he went in my groin it really hurt - I've not had that before.

I am on 2.5 mg bisoprolol

unsightly collateral veins in pelvis/pubic area.
I’ve been following these forums for a couple years now- but this is my first time posting here….. ok so here it goes… long story short I’m a 33 year old female. In May of 2021 I was diagnosed with DVTS from the tips of my toes, all the way up both legs, both sides of my pelvis and up my IVC. Needless

Angiogram
My husband has an
angioplasty
scheduled for next Friday. He asked the question as to whether he needs to cease his Apixaban prior to having it done. He was told no just to carry on taking all his medication. As he didn’t think this right he contacted his cardiologist’s secretary & she agreed.
