Angiogram vs Angioplasty

I have had 6 stents and triple bypass. Each time I had a stent put in, they started out as angiogram and became angioplasty, each time they went in they put in a stent if needed, except that one time when I needed bypass. Now my Cardiologist wants to do an angiogram, then discuss his findings with me then go back and do angioplasty. Only reason I can come up with is the extra $40,000 the Oklahoma Heart Hospital will make from the "diagnostic angiogram". I'm very disappointed in my doctor. He even put in number 6 stent. Anyone else run into this?

We don't have that kind of problem here in UK. Plenty of others but not money grabbing.
