It's exactly a year since my quadruple heart bypass...what a year!
I'd survived a minor heart attack in the November, had a Cardiac MRI then gone in for an angiogram/
angioplasty
in February, which was halted and that's when I was told to prepare for a CABG x 4.

Kidney/Ureter/Bladder Reconstructive Surgery Recovery Time?
I will be one year with my new blessed kidney on November 26. I have had 2 rejections and countless surgical procedures mostly due to a narrowing of the ureter causing a backflow of urine from my bladder to my kidney and causing my kidney to swell. After several stent replacements, 2 unsuccessful

Has anyone had hepatic artery narrowing?
Also if anyone has had stents/
angioplasty
and if it has worked/how long for? Thank you. Yours truly, Pear.

Is it possible to stent four arterial blockages in one angioplasty?
He's scheduled for an
angioplasty
tomorrow and possible stenting, but with so many blocks I'm worried they'll have to do CABG. Has anyone been in this situation and only treated it with stents and meds?

Will my dad be okay?
I’m terrified about the
angioplasty
and stents, even though I know it’s a fairly common procedure and less risky than CABG.

Criteria for choosing non-emergency CABG?
My dad is scheduled for an
angioplasty
next week. His flow test and scans have revealed at least three significant blockages (over 70%) one of which is in his LAD.

Overlapping stents and chest pain niggles after exercise
I eventually managed to get a copy of the notes from the cardiologist that performed my
angioplasty
and 4 stents.

Where Is MichaelJH?
Eventually I went to the vascular unit as a day patient for
angioplasty
to improve the circulation. By that time I had been told I was going to lose my big toe. To say the
angioplasty
was not a success would be an understatement. At the end of July I had my leg amputated.

Lansoprazole opinion
I am fast approaching my first anniversary of my HA and
angioplasty
. My repeat prescription shows I will stop taking the ticagrelor and lansoprazole. At a review earlier in the year my GP said he would recommend that I stay on the lansoprazole long term to protect my stomach.

Home! Update
Had
angioplasty
today and had critical blockage in right coronary artery and that got stented, and what we thought was a severe blockage in the LAD (what the ct scan showed). turned out to be not too bad and was ballooned and was stable to be left without a stent. So I have 1 stent!

Know About Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting
CABG is done if the blockages in the heart cannot be treated with other procedures like
angioplasty
or it is done on an emergency basis during a heart attack.

Rami[pril and Bisoprol combined leading to excessive tiredness
I had a very successful
Angioplasty
2 weeks ago at the Wycombe Hospital and would like to thank the team there again. I had one stent fitted on the Circumflex artery which was 85% narrowed.

New Member - Angioplasty and four stents
Hi I had an
Angioplasty
and four stents on Thursday. Another artery may be stented in four weeks. Not sure about it all but I feel fine like I'm going to live forever. This came after angina not a heart attack. Do Stents last for ever these days?

Live alone; what help will I need at home after a CABG?
I'm due to have a bypass in the next month for 1, possibly 2 or 3, coronary arteries following repeat in-stent restenosis after 2
angioplasty
procedures. My question relates to the extent that I'll need any assistance at home after leaving hospital given that I live alone.
