A little update
After
angioplasty
, the stress mri, etc etc I have just returned from a meeting with a surgeon and a “Mr” Dr. It appears that I have had a massive heart attack that should have put me on the other side. I have no knowledge of this happening { is that even possible?}

London to Birmingham canal walk
I have survived three heart attacks, I have been stented, had
angioplasty
and CABG. My partner Ruby and I felt it would be appropriate to walk from where I was born in London, to my brothers birthplace in Birmingham.

A story of hope ...
On March 12th about 5mins after the AZ jab I had a major MI which resulted in an
angioplasty
and stent to a fully occluded LAD (aka widowmaker). The discharge echo pu[u]t my EF @ 35-40%.

Hello
I have survived three heart attacks, been stented, had
angioplasty
and a coronary artery bypass graft to the the superior side of my heart as the inferior side was too badly damaged for a graft to be viable. In addition I am type two diabetic and have COPD.

Can’t believe it
I had a silent heart attack last Wednesday and an
angioplasty
Saturday, at home now resting but it doesn’t feel like I had an attack and can’t believe it. The
angioplasty
seems like a bad dream. Bit uncomfortable and slight pain but surreal feeling anyone else feel or felt like this

Post Heart stent back pain
I was in an acute coronary unit for a week that culminated in
angioplasty
and a Stent. I have to go back for another in a few weeks. Since then I’ve had a very dull background back ache between my shoulder blades. Is this normal?

Heart attack (Stemi) and unable to stent because of ectatic Coronary artery
When they looked via the angiogram/
angioplasty
they found that the artery was ectatic. That means apparently that it is not uniform in cross section , and not smooth in end to end shape. They could not stent. So they did their best to clear it via the
angioplasty
and anticoagulants.

Asking a cardiologist to re-evaluate an angiogram? Possibility of something being overlooked?
Only one hospital in the region performs stenting and I was sent to that hospital from the other hospital purely for the angiogram /
angioplasty
before I went home.

Recurring intermittent chest pains after NSTEMI heart attack
I had an NSTEMI in December last year followed by 2 stents in my right coronary artery and a third blockage in the left was treated with an
angioplasty
. I am now on a selection of drugs including antiplatlet, blood pressure, statins, beta blockers, and angina drugs.

Family history
The angiogram came positive .
Angioplasty
was done immediately. Iam stable now. My question is how family history and heredity play important role in recognise heart disease at the earliest?
