Angioplasty for left hand artery to heart with hematoma in left leg after angioplasty 3weeks ago for stents in right hand artery from heart
I'm sorry that I cannot answer your question directly, Fleure, as my angioplasty experience was different.
However, I'm sure that the surgeons would not consider proceding with the surgery if it was not completely safe to do so.
My procedure was carried out two years ago. Initially I had an investigative angiography following a number of angina attacks. The angiography procedure was in my right hand artery. A week later I had the full angioplasty operation (3 stents fitted) and the procedure was in the same arm!! ...something that I was also very concerned about as it was still bruised from the first op. In the event, this 2nd procedure was a little painful because of the remnant bruising. However, all went well. By the sound of it, your 2nd procedure is not in the same location as your 1st operation and so I'm certain all will be absolutely fine!
Good luck and all the best for a speedy recovery.

They could use the wrist like they did with me, very safe and not at all painful.
