Hi. I was in an acute coronary unit for a week that culminated in angioplasty and a Stent. I have to go back for another in a few weeks. Since then I’ve had a very dull background back ache between my shoulder blades. Is this normal?

Hi. I had the same for a long time following a HA and stents fitted in Jan 2020. I may be wrong but i put it down to some sort of muscle spasm from when I suffered the HA as the back pain at that point was awful. The only thing that has eased this back pain is a very thorough sports back massage which helped relaxed some pretty tense back muscles. May be totally unrelated to the HA and stent fitting but it helped me.

Hi. I’m suffering from exactly the same. I went to see Cardiologist and he said this is not much concerning. But it limits my activity.

It gets worse if I do any exercise.
