Could Vitamin D3 affect hemoglobin levels?
My husband ( 84 years old) has had CLL for at least 20 years. Two years ago they started him on Imbruvica 420 mg daily but stopped it after 14 months because his neutrophil count was so low. Since June of 2022 he has been getting Eprex injections (40,000 units ) weekly and taking Aclovir 400 mg twice

I finally got my iron infusion (yay!) but it hasn't "kicked in" yet. No pun intended. Last night I had one of my worst yet. Zero sleep and threw up water & zofran all night. When I had my infusions in 2020 I was fresh out of COVID hospital and quite ill with pleural effusions... plus having been

Iron tablets and T3 timing?
I'm trying to raise my low ferritin (33 at last test) and am taking ferrous sulphate twice a day (will be testing my levels again soon).I was previously taking my T3 meds once a day but am having a bit of trouble tolerating a recent 5mcg increase (was taking 10, now 15mcg) so I'd like to try splitting

you don’t have to comment but please if you don’t mind say a prayer for my blood work tomorrow I’m very nervous.
I have to do my six month blood work other than Ativan I’ve stopped all meds that my dr has believed are causing my higher blood LFTs here’s hoping that’s all it was and nothing more. I did take some ibuprofen today for a headache hoping that doesn’t mess with my blood work. I do have a bad virus that

Weakness and fatigue after nearly 3 years of injections
Hi there, I started injections nearly 3 years ago. I have had varying frequencies, everything from eod to every 2 weeks. I had so much improvement in the first year or so, but since then it seems to have tapered off. Some symptoms that have improved include dark vision, depression, balance issues,

Where do I go from here?
I’ve now had a stool test and a blood test to check for
anaemia
but nothing has come back. Where do I go from here? The GP doesn’t seem interested. I’m so worried. I’m convinced it’s something bad.

Not so good news - after 11 months of Besremi, WBC, RBC, Hemoglobin, and HCT were all below normal
For the last 11 months, WBC, RBC, Hemoglobin, and HCT were all trending lower; and in general CBC and CMP numbers have been normal for the last 9 months until last week (the 11th month). I hope this is just due to a higher dose than necessary. I just had 100 mcg of Besremi, and it was 150 mcg for around

Folate Level 30
Hi everyone, I wondered if someone could give me some advice on my folate levels. I am self injecting every day. The doctor initially prescribed daily injections for 3 weeks and after those 3 weeks we had another appointment and my neuro symptoms had not subsided - so he recommended for me to continue

Tips to tackle GP!
I have been prone to
anaemia
for a while and take Floradix daily. I’m not sure if GP is planning to ring me about the low iron, but I know she will say TSH is fine. Any links to support my conversation with GP or helpful tips on how to proceed would be much appreciated.

CALR+ eosinophilia
Greetings from Brooklyn, New York! For the past 3+ years my CBCs have consistently shown significantly high eosinophils.
