Could this be pudendal neuralgia? If so, what would you recommend from your experience?
Back in the beginning of June 2013 I thought I was getting a UTI so went to the doctor who gave me trimethoprim. This made no difference in fact I then began getting a really bad itching and burning sensation around my genitals. Another doctor prescribed amoxicillin for non specific urethritis...again

Worst fungal yeast infection and diarrhoea after wisdom tooth extraction - can i take fluconazole with amoxycillin?
Worst thrush ever - walking is very uncomfortable. Never had such a severe case. Very bad diarrhoea today, totally dehydrated and worn out. Not had it so bad since the gluten-eating days. The tooth was extracted Tues, still oozing. Taking probiotics with amoxy but still suffering. The fluconazole says

Antibiotics
I have been referred to the Amyloidosis centre at the Royal Free, ( inflammation clinic ) and they have advised me to take Antibiotics to see if this will prevent another flare,The Antibiotic wasn,t specified and the Dr I saw was on holiday when my GP contacted them to see which Antibiotic they suggest

Cystitis even while on anti-biotics? Plus certain infections connected to hypothyroid?
I am currently on Amoxicillin 500, which was not given for cystitis (have a bacterial chest infection) but can be used as such, yet I am still having mild symptoms of a urinary tract infection. I am very prone to them and have been for a number of years. In the past any anti-biotic took care of it without

So....... how do you provide a sputum sample when you've nothing to cough up?
A bit of a story, and I've mentioned before that my GP surgery isn't the best but there's no alternative and I endeavour to see my own GP if I can who is about the best one there. I received my diagnosis of COPD in March, had a few appointments with the nurse whilst trying to find the best inhaler

I am wondering about long term effects of Group B Strep
He received a full course (two weeks) of
Ampicillin
and an additional 3rd week of
Ampicillin
to treat possible Meningitis. He was never stable enough to get a lumbar puncture to confirm Meningitis. His final diagnosis was Group B Strep with Pneumonia, Sepsis and PPHN.

Thoughts on group B strep
Hi everyone I've had two previous pregnancies and both were normal throughout no complications etc. I was never tested for GBS in them. 6 years ago and 4.5 years ago. Today I'm possibly facing being tested at my doc app. I'm allergic to penicillin /Erythromycin and amoxicillin. I'm worried being allergic

I have a chest infection and I never knew!
Last week I had a check up with the nurse at the COPD clinic to see how I was getting on with the changeover from Ventolin to Spiriva. Because I was still getting chest discomfort if I used the Ventolin (the pressurised one) she changed it to the handihaler dry powder type in case it was the propellant

Do Antibiotics alter Fev1 readings
Following on from an earlier question. The general feeling is that you should not be on antibiotics when you have Lung function tests. I was still taking amoxicillin when I had my first and only test. My FEV1 was 73% and forced vital capacity is 112% (?) Does this mean that I am actually worse than

Confused about different strengths of Asthma Medications?!!
Hiya, Really random post!! I have been suspected of having asthma for years, and have had a blue reliever inhaler for when necessary, which has usually been when its cold, when I'm ill or during hayfever times - most of the year then :-/ Anyway since September I have had constant chest infections,

I am in the midst of the worst flair up I have ever had. Up till now COPD was a minor irritation now I am scared.
The first antibiotic Amoxycillin didn't touch the symptoms I am now half way through a six day course of clarithromycin and no improvement. What should I do now

Remember to tell your dentist you have CLL
My dentists in Canada, knowing I have CLL, have always used prophylactic (protective) antibiotics for dental work, including cleanings. There doesn't seem to be much agreement on this subject, and it seems to vary from country to country, but it would be a good idea that CLL patients advise

DRIVING: Raising the while flag, Part 2.
I will do my best to keep this concise. I spent hours researching a few things last night and discovered a surprise that may help me, but might be an uphill battle. I will advocate for it like crazy. Even if I do lose my license going forward to increased visual problems, I can accept that; I know it's
