1st post! Extreme health anxiety & pregnant. I need help!
I googled and it said if you have one you are more than likely to get another so now I am convinced I may have
alopecia
. On the brighter side I conceived all by myself (yeeeey) I am 14 weeks pregnant and petrified something is wrong everyday!

Hair loss overnight in 12year old son.
I took him the doctors and he said it looked like
alopecia
areata. A week or two later I took him back to the doctor and demanded blood tests, which came bad as having a very underactive thyroid with raised antibodies in his blood. His hair has since started to grow back but very fine and wispy.

All Over Hair Loss - Common?
With the research I've done on the internet, apart from
alopecia
(which it doesn't sound like), I can't find anything other than thyroid/adrenal/pituitary as a cause.

Sea kelp and levothyroxine
I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether it would be worthwhile taking sea kelp supplements as well as my thyroxine (150mg). I don't feel like the thyroxine is fully managing my symptoms, but my doctor won't increase the thyroxine as my bloods are within range, and I'm just wanting to see if there

Some help with folate/ zinc etc blood results please?
I have had
alopecia
since the age of 8 and diagnosed hypothyroid since my early twenties. All was managed well until after the birth of my third child (who is now 5). Since then I have felt dreadful (to put it mildly). I am 41.

Common Autoimmune diseases, alopecia & thyroid.
I'm worried I might be showing signs of early
alopecia
. I count the hair (that I can) that comes out everyday usually between 400-500 per day.

Hair loss
Has anybody figured out what cause hair loss besides hypothyroidism? I have Hashimoto's. I know some vitamin deficiencies do. I'm thinking either the Armour is doing it or the 1 1/2 gr. dose too low. I just started t3. Is anybody experiencing hair loss from Cytomel? Thanks.

Quality of life
I was fine until I started thyroid medication. Since then it has been down hill. Worse of all hair loss and weight gain.

Hi everyone I am 19 and have had severe eczema all my life. I was told I would grow out of it so many of the GP's and doctors I saw never took me very seriously when I was young as they just saw me as a guinea pig to try different steroid creams and emollients. Having left college and the stress of

Thyroid Endocinologist in London
Hi, I would like to know if anyone has visited a thyoid specialist in the London area who was open to looking at over forms of medication than Levothyroxine. I would be paying for this myself but with my current hair loss am prepared to do this as long as I know the doctor would be able to give me more

Bad hair condition
Can anyone suggest anything to do or take for my hair, its in terrible condition. I've tried stuff like argan oil etc and obviously can't take anything with kelp in it. I have had an underactive thyroid and take 200mg Thyroxine per day.

Hair loss 😢
Hi folks, I did post a few weeks ago about this but as it's still falling out I wondered if anyone has had any experience with this and if it's likely to resolve or continue? I'm currently on 100 Levo and I know it's a side effect of this but if anyone has experienced it could they remember roughly how

Lupus/Sjogren and Ugly days!
Hey all Just having one of those days where my hair loss seems to be really noticeable, scalp glaring at me from mirror, weight gain around butt and tummy from prednisone seems to be wobblying more today and skin just looks thin, pasty and horrid. So.....not just bad hair day but "all over ugly day"
