Info re high heart rate during an attack
Hi everyone I know I rant about this topic often but it really does make me mad when I am told by medics that a fast heart rate isn't a feature of an asthma attack. I'm sure all of us in the community know that it is and sadly have experienced it (all my attacks have started with a high heart rate).

Asthma and Migraine Treatment
Prior to my recent asthma deterioration my GP prescribed Naproxen for my migraines. I explained that I’ve never had any problems with Ibuprofen so I was happy with that. Now after this recent nasty flare I am reluctant to take it as I don’t know if it will trigger an attack. For those of you out there

Flouride/asthma/reflux?
Anybody know if there is any connection between flouridation of the water supply and increase in acid reflux and asthma symptoms? My symptoms increased after moving to another area from one where my water supply was flouride free.

Understanding the role of plastic in the food industry.
Hi everyone, As this is very topical I think it's good to understand why plastic is used so extensively by the food industry.
In the US they use enough cling film in a year to wrap Texas.
Cling film is mostly single use as it clogs the recycling machines. Obviously ready made sandwiches need

Lactose In NDT and Possible Milk Intolerance dilemma 🤔
I have been using Thyroid-S for some time now and have found it to be the best medication for me. I have also been gluten free for two years which has helped. Asthma UK nurses- brilliant job.
After feeling down and frustrated with my asthma, I called the Asthma UK helpline as I know they’ve been brilliant in the past and they were again. The nurse took time to go through everything with me and explore different options and medications that might help. Honestly this service is great each

Has anyone else got asthma, bronchiectasis and bilateral pulmonary embolisms? What's being done about it? How do you manage?

Stoma
Hi there everyone. I’m having my op tomorrow for my first recurrence of OC. There is a possibility of me having a stoma, hopefully temporary. Have any of you had this? What can I expect? I’m so scared but trying to be ultra positive to family and friends.

Hello. Well I have not been on or posted for a whole ,simply because fortunately I have been managing to control it until about 8 weeks ago. I've been to gp and hospital and seemingly I'm ok. However , in my mind I am now all of a sudden allergic to everything , balloons , nuts , seafood , new moistirusers

Constipation and antidepressants
Hi, Can anyone tell me of any anti depressants which do not have constipation as a side effect. I have been constipated since birth. Many medical reasons, and I take strong medication every day to make my bowels work. I’m in a bad place mentally at the moment for lots of external reasons, but the antidepressants

Once again organic food
I found this article and video very interesting. Unfortunately not all of us can buy organic food. I wish the price of organic food would go down but also for foods that have chemicals added to them to be less affordable. Governments know the cost to our health when our food is sprayed with chemicals
