CT scan results
Hi all, I had a CTPA on 27th May and have just seen the results (or radiologists comments) - lung parenchyma generally of increased density, compatible with a semi-expiratory scan acquisition. Minor atelectasis in the lingula. No other significant lung leision or other pathology demonstrated. Normal

Blue inhalers
HI I have been using the blue Ventolin inhaler for a while. Last time I collected my prescription the inhaler was smaller. It has "Ivax" on the plastic dispenser. I find that when I inhale it triggers a cough and I cannot get the dose from the cannister. It seems to be the same ingredients as the larger

HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED THE NEW INHALER DRUG "INBRIJA"?
Hi fellow Parkies I have been away from this forum for awhile, and I am back. I am beginning to develop frequent motor fluctuations, so my MDS suggested the inhaler "Inibrija" to eliminate wearing off periods thus reducing wearing off dyskinesia/dystonia. Have you used this new drug before, or still

Lung Function Tests and Nebuliser
I'm used to Lung function tests, I've had a fair few, I know when to stop my inhalers, no hard exercise (not done that for years). However, nowhere in the paperwork says if I should use my nebuliser, as usual, on the test day or not. I've only had the nebuliser since last September, I didn't think to

Another inhaler change... Steroid Card or not?
So, the Fostair really wasn't working out for me (https://healthunlocked.com/asthmauk/posts/146157097/seretide-to-fostair) so I was back to the nurse who has now given me a new inhaler - this time it's a Relvar 182/22. So far so good - no nasty side-effects and I'm just waiting for my daily symtoms to

SOB but peak flow doesn't change and asthma tests don't show anything severe
Hi, I'm kind of desperate right now and thought that you guys might have some ideas regarding my problems. Roughly 3 Weeks ago I started having trouble of breath from time to time. In my case inhaling feels much worse than exhaling. Also my throat starts feeling harder when I have SOB. I don't have
