So, the Fostair really wasn't working out for me (healthunlocked.com/asthmauk... so I was back to the nurse who has now given me a new inhaler - this time it's a Relvar 182/22. So far so good - no nasty side-effects and I'm just waiting for my daily symtoms to start disappearing (fingers crossed!)
I'm afraid I'm the sort of person who does lots of research before starting a new inhaler and from what I read it looks like this is quite a high dose. Should I be asking the pharmacist for a steroid card then?
Thanks in advance for your advice, which is always greatly appreciated!

I have this inhaler and sometimes take 2x doses per day if required... I have only ever been given a steroid card with oral pred.
So 🤷♂️ It seems to be a postcode lottery as with a lot of asthma treatment!
Hope it continues to work for you though 🤞🤞
😊👍
Hi, I've been on the Relvar 184/22 since November last year, it did take about 3 months to fully take effect for me - but that was partly because I had undiagnosed Bronchiectasis!! My consultant told me I needed to ask for a steroid card.Hope that helps.
