Shortage of inhalers
I put in a prescription request for my montelukast and inhalers (Fostair 200/6 and Spiriva) over a week ago. Hadn't heard anything so went to the pharmacy today to see if I could pick it up only to be told there is a major supply problem and they don't know when they'll be able to get hold of either

Sorry me again peak flow on 43inch child
I'm new to this and told to write down morning and nights best of 3... we couldn't get the peak flow meter for 2 days and the difference the inhalers made in that time symptom wise in terms of cough and mucus is amazing almost like a switch slight cough on exercise and if stressed or its cold outside

Dapagliflozin
Following my Cardiology consult just before Christmas my cardiologist increased the dosage of Bisoprolol, changed my Simvastatin to an increased dose of Atorvastatin, but left my Ramipril as before. New addition to the regime is Dapagliflozin as I am borderline diabetic also. Do any of you take this

COVID v Asthma
Just after some advice. I am currently at home self-isolating with COVID. I know its proberly different for everyone but from my own symptons this feels more like an allergic reaction than what people describe as a cold. Normally, I would reach for an antihistime but given that, my body is fighting

Asthma/mucus flare up? Could be just weather change?
Hi All, Hope everyone is well šš½ As some of you may know, I stopped having issues and felt as if Asthma symptoms had really decreased. After discussing with GP, came off steroid inhaler and have been fine. Only used blue ventolin inhaler one puff, prob once/twice a month etc. Was fine and then had

Hi Iād ask if there is a nurse who specifically deals with lung conditions. Also check there website it should tell you names of medical staff that is trained in lung conditions.Have you had your inhaler technique checked? Depending on which inhaler you use they should offer you a spacer.

Which Puppies work for mild asthma/allergy - medium/standard dog breeds that are hypoallergenic
We had a standard Poodle before and this worked. We are looking in the UK for a list of cross breeds with a poodle that might work with my asthma. (eyes itchy and asthma causing in-frequent use of ventolin inhaler etc). My asthma is under control without dogs/cats/hay/dust at the moment but don't want

Newly diagnosed with asthma - need help!
I have been suffering with breathing difficulties for 2 years, following a severe chest infection. My breathing never got back to normal. I've tried to get help from the GP several times, but was told for the first year that 'it takes time to recover from chest infections' and in the second year that

COPD cough
A very Happy New Year to All - hereās to 2022 bringing us good health. This may seem like a silly question, but is a permanent cough part and parcel of COPD please? My Mum has had a barking cough for over two months now, and after a number of courses of steroids and antibiotics it still has not cleared

Chest infection with orange phlem?
Hi, bit of a long post. I rang my asthma team on 17th December as I was coughing up thick green, temp, coughing etc. Had infections consistently for about 3 years now, definitely know what they feel like. They said see my gp because they cant see me, and even delayed all my appointments for the year.
