Luforbec.
Having read a few posts about issues with Luforbec, I would like to add that I've just gone back on Fostair after being so fed up with Luforbec that I even offered to pay for Fostair. The biggest issue has been the difficulty with the device giving me one dose with each press. I had to ditch one inhaler

Asthma during respiratory infections
Hi, I've been asthmatic since I was 2 years old and am now considerably older than that. Despite 45 years of experience I really don't have a good understanding of what to expect from asthma management. I use a low dose Flixotide preventer inhaler every day and salbutamol when required. Day to day you

Week4 Run3
Completed run 3 yesterday, really enjoyed the run and tried running the first two segments slower so that I could pick up the pace on the last two run segments, I did achieve that, but it made very little difference to my overall time, I think my asthma is improving, but I have been a bit more vigilant

it feels like I'll never get better
Hi! I've had constant air hunger every day since June. During my early teens, I was diagnosed with asthma caused by cats. I got prescribed Ventolin which I used when in contact with cats, it helped. I never had any other issues with asthma. As I was young, the allergy tests only confirmed me being

Newbie
Hi, I'm new here and looking forward to getting to know others who are in the "same boat" as it were. I was only diagnosed in June and am struggling to come to terms with it, also to get the meds right. I have a review on Friday as it seems the inhaler I was given may not be right for me. It's all

childhood asthma
hi all, I had childhood asthma which completely left as I was 12. However it came back last year when I got food poisoning. I constantly feel like air hunger, wheezing and chest tightness. It makes me so anxious I feel like I could have lung cancer which makes no sense I have a blue inhaler and

Offered montelukast
Hi there! I'm new here and not sure why I haven't thought to join this before. I've been struggling with my asthma for some time now and have just been offered montelukast because I've not settled after almost 3 weeks of max. Inhalers and a course of steroids. I was just wondering if anyone has experience

Inhaler
Hi all, I haven't been on for awhile however, I do read all of your posts. My GP has put me on the Respimat Inhaler. I was wondering if any of you have used this and if so, have you had any relief from a tight chest and dry cough.

As anyone else had any reaction (ie increase in cough) to the above inhaler? I was switched to this in June (2023) & haven't stopped coughing! Also, I was put on Bisoprolol in Feb after an x-ray showed Arrhythmia. The x-ray result I had 2 wks ago showed as Normal! Last month I was given Omeprazole

I have not got an asthma diagnosis, but had inhalers (salbutamol, Clenil, Fostair) for 18 months after suspected Covid in March 2020. oxygen usage
I had an assessment with an oxygen lady today. she has told me I should only use the ambulatory oxygen when I go out. I use the concentrater over night at 2. I asked her what I should use during the day when I’m home. According to her I should only use the blue inhaler when I get out of breath and

Inhaler adherence/use your spacer
I am possibly going to take part in a study for inhaler adherence. When speaking to the Dr running the study, she told me that many people do not take their inhaler correctly, and it makes such a difference to your condition. Using a spacer can make a difference of 30% more of your medication getting
