Hi, I'm new here and looking forward to getting to know others who are in the "same boat" as it were.
I was only diagnosed in June and am struggling to come to terms with it, also to get the meds right. I have a review on Friday as it seems the inhaler I was given may not be right for me.
It's all very confusing 😔

I'm quite new on this forum, welcome to the forum aswell. What have you been diagnosed with? Sorry if you already said what it was. Maybe you need a higher dose of inhaler. I have had asthma since I was 3 I've had 2 major asthma attacks both times ended up in hospital the most recent was 4 years ago was in hospital for 2 weeks. Anyway hope your able to get an inhaler that helps. x
Good morning emmjay77. And welcome to this friendly group. Yes it does take time to get over the shock diagnosis. I am glad you have a follow-up appointment tomorrow and hope they find medication that is going to help you. You will find plenty of support here. Take care and let us know how you get on. Also any Inhalers or medication take 2 to 4 weeks to get into your system and then should start making you feel better. Brian
