I struggle with the breathing chest is tight & itchy the sleep at night is the worse I’m up about 4am mainly so my husband can get some rest this has followed a cold . Up to then never needed an inhaler only for prevention now it’s 4,5x a day for relief drs put me on steroid tabs - still wheezing though

No sleep makes the whole situation worse though I do find taking cold flu tabs before bed helps somewhat

I sympathise with this condition I am eliminating everything dust damp smelly air fresheners bleach to see if there causing this

I suspect it could of been covid a couple of weeks ago

Its very debilitating I hope all of you find help with all of the problems your experiencing

Be ruthless to make your bedroom a good place, no clutter, no dust, buy new pillows and duvet, wash everything at 60. Set up an air purifier in room two hours before you sleep.

If that does not work, can you sleep separately from husband, you will not then be worrying about disturbing his sleep, and can do what suits you.

I'm so sorry to hear you are struggling. I think I had covid six weeks ago--I tested negative but had all the symptoms including loss of taste and I have been a mess since with a ton of 2 am wakenings and needing by nebulizer and ventolin nonstop etc.

Let us know what you learn at your review. I'm going into the GP today myself.

It is very scary having bad asthma at night isn't it? I hate waking up feeling like I'm suffocating. It makes it frightening to fall asleep if that makes sense.

Wheezy and itchy is nasty. On their own each Is bad enough!!!

I had this a while back. I found that allergy pillow and mattress protectors helped a lot.

Of course, we're all different. I hope you find a solution quickly.
